Not Eddies fault, Jackiewicz has been competitive against a title holder. The promoters job is to get his fighter the highest pay/ranking with the least risk.

Very premature stoppage, but there was only one way that was going!! Brook's totally changed my opinion of him tonight he really did look world class, very impressive performance

RJ was clearly defending himselff. Most of those shots were not landing.

1. Be British
2. Don't cover up for more than 5 seconds

RJ was absolutely fine. He was clear headed, steady legged, and he was blocking most of Brook's fflurrys. He showed no signs of being in serious danger.

I think the fact that Sky are only showing repeated replays of a single slow motion right hand landed sums up that it was premature.

So should every one-sided fight be stopped in your opinion? Even when the losing fighter has shown NO signs of being in any sort of trouble?

Exactly(leaving aside my own bitterness at losing money) there's no rule that says you stop a fight if it's boring.

If someone is blocking most of those punches and is not hurt then a stoppage is not warranted.

Your talking about 2 world class boxers, and don't come higher than you bullsh*t. Boxing is about hurting and KOing your opponent, if it was a 6 round prelim i could understand the ref stopping it. But this was 2 very experienced boxers who train and expect to be pushed to the limit. Early stoppage no doubt
