Agree he doesn't look like he's got the power to knock him out and he's being outworked.

I could see a corner retirement tonight.

That pretty much sums it up. Byrne is getting hit far too much and looks tired which is understandable.

It was one of those fights that was worth a calculated risk, unfortunatly it didn't come off.

Well i'd like to see Horta back on these shores again, I think he'd be an excellent fight for Purdy, Vassell or Hatton.
But can't see it happening as he's a bit of a risk for not much gain

I think he'd have given Frankie a pretty decent argument actually.

Seems I underestimated him prior to the original fight, really did a job on Byrne I felt.

Agree with Steve too, hopefully there can be some opportunities for him over here, as there have been for the likes of Kiko Martinez. Those are the sort of foreign fighters we should be getting on board, as opposed to the ''give me £50 and tell me when to fall over'' imports that we are all too used to seeing.

Arnie pulled him out at the end of the 8th - Heffron on now look at your pms

Heffron is a class act. But he isnt up against very much.

He does look good, can't believe this is only his 8th fight he seems to be on tv every other week.

Heffron is doing alright, three fights in quick succession.

I like how he digs these shots to the body, the way he gets his feet in position is top class.

Needs to work on how he gets off his head shots I think, doesn't quite deliver them right.

Still, the more he fights, the quicker these things will iron themselves out.

I'd like to see Heffron jab a bit more, he was trying too hard for the finish.

Yeah.... at the minute he seems to use the jab as much to stop the opponent from punching as much as set up his own attacks.

I wouldn't rush him though, I'd have him fighting once a month for the next six months, eight rounds each, then look at moving into ten round level.

I'd leave the French lad alone for a while though.
