Agree with both your points.

There's obviously a deep lying respect between the two, there's no lame smack talking or pushing and shoving, but they both mean business.

It wouldn't surprise me to see at least one of them call it a day after this.

They are both really fired up for this fight.

I'm not sure if that's good for either of them = but it will be good for the fans.

Marquez is a nice boxer, good timing and speed. It also looks like he is doing the weight properly this time and is a natural size fit.

Pacman wins fairly comfortably IMO, the weight increase seems to have suited him a lot better than Marquez

Some fighters just can't go beyond a particular weight and be as effective and i think Marquez's limit is 140lbs. Hatton was another guy who moved up in weight and struggled a bit. This could be more of a Pac - Shane fight than people realise.

Chambers 2 - totally agree mate.

I don't see the size being much of a factor here, they are still the same people, it's not like Pacman has had a growth spurt or something. Granted he's naturally bigger than JMM and has traveled through divisions with far more ease, but he'll be just as easy for JMM to tag as before. JMM is never gonna KO Pacman, it was always for him to outbox him.

The major factor in this fight is JMM age and the wars he's been in. He's taken far more punishment than MP since they last met, and of course is older.

I love this fight but also hate it, JMM is my long time favourite fighter (had him winning the last one), and MP is prob my second favourite current fighter. I'd love nothing more than to see JMM win to seal his greatness and get the recognition he deserves worldwide, but I hold out a big hope of MP v FMJ in the future. In saying that, knowing Floyd the Pacman fight would get made easily if JMM won haha.

So, in answer to the thread question, YES JMM can win, of course, but I see Pacman with a TKO victory personally.

JMM has no chance imo i expect mid rounds ko, he just doesnt carry the power up the weights like pac does, we saw that when he fought PBF.

Pacquiao upstages Mayweather again and stops Marquez in round 8. At 147, Marquez isn't half the fighter he normally is. Plus, he looked shaky throughout most of the Katsidis fight.

Neither of them are too difficult to hit, so it will come down to power IMO. It's difficult to know what power Marquez has at 147lbs, since he couldn't lay a glove on Mayweather. If he connects and it doesn't have an affect on Pacman, then he'll get ko'd in 8 or less.

That said, I wouldn't bet against any man who drinks his own piss. You don't know what he might be capable of.

Like I said above, these are the same guys! Marquez has gone 24 rounds before without being knocked out, so why is Pacquiao's power all of a sudden coming into play?

Marquez get's knocked out because he's older, slower and more shop worn than last time, not because of an increase in power or a lack of power on Marquez's side. I'm sure his plan is to never try and KO Pacman, maybe get a knockdown by unbalancing him, but I don't think he's ever truly thought he has the power to end the fight!
