Furys chin is obviously suspect its became evident over the last 3 fights. So after tonight i can say without a doubt NO.

Fury does stand a fair chance against the near 62 year old version of Foreman but I wouldn't fancy his chances of staying up if George manages to land!

to this post and even the meerest hint of a suggestion that Fury would get anywhere close to beating povetkin. not that povetkin is much cop but tonight fury looked wank

To quote Tyson Fury's dad, "Champions like George Foreman and Michael Spinks couldn't have lived with him".

If the Povetkin-Fury fight is in the UK, the ref would stop it and award a TKO win to Fury.

Povetkin would stop Fury inside 3 rounds easy!

Laughable really. The guy is out of shape, relying purely on his size. Roughing, mauling, leaning, grabbing opponents, throwing some jabs (he has a decent jab, it has to be said) ,fighting C rated guys......and struggling.

He has heart and balls but to counter that he has poor technique and discipline (still too fat & heavy), average power and decent speed. Is this enough to win a world title? Sadly, once Wlad and Vitali are gone, probably.

No way - C level guys keep coming too close to knocking him out! I remember in a Jorge Luis Gonzalez fight in the early 90s when people were intrigued by where he might go, Jim Watt saying words to the effect of 'I sometimes wonder if 6'7'' is too big for a heavyweight?' and I think I agree with him.

The Klitschko brothers have been successful but over a very poor crop of fattys and old men, and Gonzalez, Michael Grant, Lance Whitaker, Tye Fields, Nikolay Valuev, never dominated the heavyweight scene like we were told they would. I think Tyson Fury and David Price will ultimately join that collective.

I still think the ideal heavy is around 6'2'' and a strong, lean, fit 215-220lbs. Those guys provided serious action.
