I was getting frustrated with Eubank's opponent not throwing a punch so he must have been steaming. The good thing is he kept his composure and just went about his business in a mature way.
He never looked ruffled and for a debut outing he looked calm, composed and very professional.

Get me a first class ticket for this train...

what weight is he campaigning at and what was his weight on night anyone?

I don't reckon he'll be a banger. There's a vid of him online on the pads with Mayweather snr I remember thinking he looked very quick and accurate but not a big puncher. I reckon he'll be more like Amir Khan, speed and enough power to trouble an opponent but not a really destructive puncher.

Other than that he looked very well schooled.

They totally overdone it - laid it on thick like he was a superstar on his pro debut, the lad has only had 26 amateur fights. That took the concept of 'TV fighter' to a new level.

Still, it will be an interesting ride and Channel Five have had a good start with their boxing, all good fights - but hopefully they will show more highlights of the under card too.

I agree, think he is definitely a Khan type fighter. Can see him making an impact in the division. Wont do Big Mick any harm with C5 either

I agree about the undercard bit.

They should utilise their other channels like 5* for this.

I know he did well as an amatuer, but i believe he only had around 26 fights in total. I know you'd never guess that from the way he fights, but i think its a slight concern.

Why exactly did he have so few fights as an amatuer?

It's good to have a prospect to root for in boxing, the way the sport is today. When Haye first burst onto the scene it was fun to predict how far he would go. Audley's first few fights were fun too, what with the speculation and the public interest and the free to watch and whatnot.

This guy Eubank Jr strikes me as a future Andre Ward type (hopefully minus the fouling).

Is Eubank Jnr still involved with Mike McCallum? Surely there cannot be a finer pro trainer??

I really like the look of Jnr in the ring, although the Tina Turner ring walk, hopping over the ropes and posturing like dad make him seem a bit gimmicky. Can he lose all that and be his own man? Another minor quibble, plugging his Twitter in the post fight interview actually made me despair. Is THIS what 'fighters' have become??

On another note, it was good to see Eubank Snr looking so good, he doesn't look in bad nick at all

He looked excellent (allowing for the opposition) and I loved the C5 build-up. He doesn't appear to have even a fraction of his dad's charisma, but he's definitely a talent.

If he plays things right he can be the clichéd bloke who lads want to be and girls want to be with. Building up a following on Twitter is exactly what he should be doing. Needs to keep his dad out of the spotlight; Chris Sr he was playing to the crowd a bit, turned to the audience when talking at end of round 1/2, and walked over to the corner when they were advising Chris Jr and tried to muscle in

Chris Jr looked solid, composed, relaxed with a good shot selection and decent power

Seems a nice, level headed kid too......good luck to him, has the world at his feet if plays his cards right

It was a good debut and I liked what I saw. He has got quick hands and he puts his shots together well and he also possesses good shot selection and does not really waste shots at all, but I did felt he should have thrown more bodyshots rather than go head hunting against a tough durable opponent and I look forward to seeing him back in the ring soon.

If Zale and Graziano were scrapping today they would both be on twitter and facebook etc.

composed and solid start ot his pro career, does anyone else find it immensely strange that Chris is being guided by former manager and friend of Nigel Benn, Ambrose Mendy?

Firstly to have a former benn assocaite in a eubank corner and secondly after some of the proven allegations and subsequent prison sentences woudl you want mendy handling you as a business?

Regarding having a former Benn guy involved, it all justs adds a nice bit of spice to the presentation.

Also, it means Nigel Benn is more likely to make a few appearances here and there, which means we can have Benn - Eubank "thing" again.
