price should step up

Tom Dallas would be a good, exciting but short British title defence. The ch5 tv viewers would enjoy that one. If Fred Evans can contest a major domestic type title, Dallas would have no problem getting approval.

Price would be prefferable though. Ultimately Fury is out there on his own, the others just seem to be full of excuses, losses or just not up for/to it.

You're kidding about Tom Dallas, that would be a massive step down to the level of boxer Tyson faced in his first few fights.

I never understood why people rated him, sure he'd built up an unbeaten record but that was based on being very carefully matched with Euro and British stiffs with losing records coming in at the last minute. The role call is a who's who of fat feather fisted journeymen like Gabor Farkas, Werner Kreiskott, Paul Morris, Daniil Peretyatko, Yavor Marinchev, Jevgenijs Stamburskis, Mihaly Nemet, Stas Bilokonve Selicky, Ben Harding, Howard Daley, Aleksandrs Selezens and Vlado Szabo and then he got a boxing lesson from the first decent journeyman he faced in Zack Page.

If your going for that level i'd much rather go with Larry Olubamiwo who would at least look great for the boxing casuals on a saturday night.

It was actually FTM press who put Dallas' name forward. It's an acceptable match even for the British title when you see who the BBofC rubber stamp for SN or Matchroom,but not ideal and i should imagine Hennessy will have better things lined up. Really though, Maloney needs to get his finger out and try and sort out a proper career path for Dallas and re-establish him, rather just try gatecrash Hennessy's exceellent work and get Tom one last payday.

Risk vs reward mate. Most people outside of proper boxing fans haven't got a clue who Perez is, but he's such a live and dangerous opponent it just aint worth it imho with the vulnerability that Fury has shown recently they will be matching him carefully.

perez or audley are perfect.i dont think tyson can look past any of these guys.i dont think audley would be ready in time,but perez should be after his recent run out.get it on!!

It won't be Audley he would beat Fury and i think Mick knows it. Perez doesn't seem like he can be botherd but has a reasonable reputation so i think that could be a logical step

Fury will be matched with fighters that don't pose a threat and will more than likely fall down after being jabbed for 3 rounds.

Audley will make lots of money, but he's also got a great chance of knocking Fury into next month with that left.
