Has this been shown on Allegedly Channel? They're missing a trick if not. I probably would have subscribed anyway, but after seeing this I'm definitely paying the tenner if only for December.

I really object to the way kellerman questioned cotto. He was close to questioning cottos heart and made a negative comment about him.taking a knee. Very direspecful in my view. I like cotto in this one.

You can say what you want about Margarito, but ''puff'' isn't one of those words.

He is one genuine hard bastard, in his last four big fights he's taken real hidings, and on the one occasion that he was stopped was still capable of complaining about the stoppage.

Probably one of the best WW chins ever, considering he's got next to no boxing skills to avoid blows. Mosley must have hit him with 500 hard shots and he took every one and just smiled. One sick mofo right there.

He'll have his way with Cotto again, as much as it pains me to say it.

I hope Cotto wins by fatality.

Agree, Max Jr is in no position to question a warrior like Cotto, not in a million years. Couldn't watch the whole thing as find Max a bit painful to watch, but did see enough to see Marg looks like one hard bastard you would not want to mess with.

I think Kellerman is entitled to question Cotto in that respect, it's not as if he's outright called him a quitter.

Lots of fighters with plenty of stones have ''quit'' in fights, or realised that they couldn't win and let it go.

Morales vs Pacquiao III
Arguello vs Pryor II
Mugabi vs Hagler
Cotto vs Margarito

All examples of fighters that could have gotten up but knew it just wasn't there.

It's not as if they did an Ortiz or Golota and basically bottled fights from winning positions because the opponent wouldn't just fall over.

Well what great insight would Max have been hoping to hear ?

Did he want Cotto to say "I was in agony, beaten to a near pulp, and I decided I didn't want to risk dying in the ring." Or how it was painful for him to recall......I just don't see the point really.

Agreed.

I think he wanted Cotto to be like Apollo Creed, falling slowly to the floor as Rocky stands with the towel in his hand dithering.

Exactly. Kellerman, gets to the point. AC Slater is such a wierd choice isn't he?

What exactly is Steve Bunces beef with Kellerman?

I'm all for tough questions, like "no one thought you won that fight"..did you not know the gloves were loaded ? Why did you dump your trainer ? etc - that's great. But asking a proud warrior like Cotto why he took a knee, when we all the know the answer anyway, and with Marg smirking across the table at him, achieves nothing and lacks class.

I like Kellerman. Some of his questions made me uncomfortable but he had to ask them to get to the heart of the matter. He got the boxers to expose their innermost selves and reveal what's really at stake. Boxing is a dark, brutal business and his style of interviewing doesn't shy away from that.

Unlike Steve "Idi Amin" Bunce, Kellerman allows the boxers to answer properly. He respects the fact that the show is about them - not him. Watching Bunce on allegedly last night, it was sad to see poor Toks Owoh sitting there dumbfounded. He was so overwhelmed by the incoherent high-pitched torrent of inanity coming his way that he barely said a word. He might as well not have been there.

x2. Never had strong feelings either way regarding Cotto but thought he was absolute class in that and I really hope he exacts revenge in this fight....even if my head says that won't happen.

Marg is a cheat, he knew what he were doing and it did defo affect the outcome of his fight with Cotto

Cotto was cut up so badly, so quickly

Cotto was lb for lb and unbeaten at the time and margo derailled his career and spoiled a possible fight with mayweather!!

I want Cotto to get revenge, he is technically better and has more ring savvy, which if he sticks to then wins a UD imo

But I don't reckon that will happen, I can see if starting off boxing but starting to get into a bit of a scrap with margo as the fight goes on. I think Margo can take anyones punch, he is very strong at light middle ( he struggled to make weight at welter last few fights), he is slow but relentless, i can see eigther cotto being stopped late after being ahead on points or cotto lasting it out and winning a close UD/MD

Why is Margarito trying to look like Pac-Man/Bruce Lee.

Man, I remember when Cotto was but a novice pro, now looking at him and Antonio they both have the faces of battled hardend vets. Like to old lions with their war marks.

Time flies.

I felt exactly the same, he was very disrespectful to Cotto, his questions were condescending and he should remember he has a duty to remain nuetral in these face offs. He'd have been better of sitting on Margarito's c*ck!

Questioning Cotto taking a knee, bemused that he's not willing to die in the ring, bemused when asking him what Cotto has to win here etc etc. He was well out of order.

As to the fight, i hope Cotto knocks him senseless for 12 rounds. His stamina issue is the major concern though and Margarito will know this better than anyone. He'll be looking to come on strong down the stretch, Cotto is going to have to fight extra smart early to maintain enough gas to get him home.

Also agree, Max is disgusting. There really are very few decent media guys in boxing. Most are on a big ego trip.

The taking a knee line of questioning wasn't designed to insult Cotto, it looked to me as though Max was trying to get Cotto to say Margarito was unnaturaly powerful, ie that his handwraps were doctored for their fight and that he'd never been hit that hard before. Basically trying to stir up a bit of controversy.

I also get that, but as the face off progressed, Kellerman clearly attempted to belittle Cotto. He was way out of place IMO and should be reprimanded for it, though i doubt he will be.

I know it was hard to see but what did you make of Cottos pictures of Margaritos wraps? He obviously thinks Antonio was at it!

I enjoyed the video just not smarmy boy Max, so thanks for posting it up Jon Saxon.

Yep, well done Jon. That's a cracking promo film compared to the Pacman-JMM 24/7 shows, I found them a bit dull.

You're right I reckon Davey, Cotto clearly believes it but won't come out and say it for whatever reason. Wish we could have had a better look at those wraps. Cotto seemed bothered by red staining of the wraps, but Margarito's explanation, that it came from the gloves, seems reasonable enough to me.

It has really whet my appetite for the rematch. Antonio's clearly enraged by those photos. I this Cottos trying to be the bigger man by not openly blaming the loss on his suspicions. I really hope he beats Antonio this time although I rooted for Margarito last time.

I think once Cotto wins he will make those photos public. He must have done, or had someone do, some research to turn that up.
