Johnny nelson and McGuigan pair of total clowns. Arguing with each other totally got their wires crossed about who they were both talking about. Goons.

They simply should not be on a panel together, they constantly interrupt each other which leads to a harried discussion of each fight with both trying to get their last word in.
I like the in between round intervals with Spencer Oliver tho, great at reading a fight and his presentation skills have improved a hell of a lot.

Not sure mate, McGuigan is just as bad. Can I just say, Adam Smith is one of the worst commentators i have EVER heard. He misses things, punches etc and seems to make up stuff, imaginary punches landing. Awful, awful commentator. And that growling, what's with all the growling....

I read somewhere that some Uni friends of Smith told him he had the 'voice' for radio / commentary, all I can say to them is 'Thanks a lot..'

Congrats to Chris Edwards on winning the lonsdale belt outright last night.
The last flyweight to do this was Adey Lewis in 1997, and hopefully this will put him in line for a shot at the EBU title.

What really gets my goat about Smith on commentary, is that he never commentates on the action between the ropes! He just waffles!!!

Ditto , i used to train in a gym where Chris used to train in his early pro career , always seemed a genuine humble lad , great to see him win the belt outright , well done Chris. :TU:

I thought that Howard Foster's intervention in the Theophane/Murphy contest was absolutely spot on.
There was no moaning from the Murphy corner about it which says that they were all satisfied with Howard's actions.
Murphy fought his heart out but ran out of gas after putting in such a gallant effort, Theophane came through in the end but only just, very enjoyable fight to watch, lots of action & lots of effort by both warriors, well done to both of them. :TU:
