He is constantly surrounded by complete tits.

His attitude couldn't have been clearer than during the in-ring interview, and he'll never change while his family are running his life.

They are a PR disaster.

He will never change. Khan thinks he is Britains best fighter and he demands people to like and respect him. I like him as a boxer but personally I think he is a complete and utter w@nker. Gutted he lost (although I think he did lose on the night), but he need to stop looking to the P4P title and concentrate on the fights in front of him. Khan totally underestimated Peterson and probably thought in the first easy here. Big mistake like that cost him and he couldn't handle it.

Khan came to the fight as if it was a formality, got what he deserved on the night! Was a close fight I wouldnt have been dissapointed either way, only thing I was disapointed in was Amir's antics through the fight and after constant fouling and inbetween rounds his face told a story!

Anyway he will have time to reflect and rewatch his weaknesses, and become a better fighter and person for it.

All the best Amir and congratulations to Lamont peterson, good fight great rematch IMO

When will he ( and others ) accept that this p4p title simply doesn't exist!?

Such a strange thing to continuously talk about.

His team have been saying on twitter that the cards were tampered with and thats why it took so long to announce the scores, apparently Buffer was told Khan won handily and then few minutes later he got the scorecards and was shocked.

Well it did take a long time to come to the decision and Khan clearly got a whisper saying he had won ( that's when he started pointing at himself talking about being still world champ just before the verdict was announced )

He didn't fight well, the ref gave him plenty of warnings yet he kept pushing ( holding an awful lot too ) so he should only be blaming himself.

You've got to admire Lamont Peterson's performance. Most, including me, didn't give him a chance.

Cracking fight, well done both.

You know nothing about boxing mate, Peterson drew with Ortiz who won the world title against a very good world champion in Berto and Peterson is average ? Amir as won the world title, defended it several times and unified it, whilst in doing so beat some dangerous fighters and Khan's a bum ? How many other british fighters have done that ? Ricky Hatton certainly never did that, maybe you hate Khan for another reason ? As far as Mayweater is concerned every fighter in the world at welter would have major problems with the pound for pound no 1. Every fighter ( including Khan )should think they can win against anyone, otherwise they may as well quit. Be more honest and less blinded by your judgement. By the way I did think Khan Lost and fought the wrong fight and also the fact that he underestimated Peterson by taking the fight in the challenger's home town was also a factor in his defeat.

Guys like Hayemaker should be banned, and left to troll childish websites for idiots like BS.

But boxrec has certainly dropped a few notches in standards lately.

Khan is a world class fighter without doubt. He's just not quite as good as he thinks he is. He still looked exceptional at times. It was a close fight, Peterson is no mug

From all accounts Khan on a personal level is a good guy. But he's not the sharpest tool in the box and is almost the anti-PR. It was close fight, his future is still good

I thought Khan didn't take the challenge of Peterson seriously enough. Peterson came to fight and looked to have Khan's number when he went forward at will, virtually all night. If he'd been a bigger puncher he may well have stopped Khan who looked unsteady on more than one occasion. I also thought Khan looked a weight class below on the night.

Can it be true that Peterson put on 15lbs in one day?

I think the right man won. Khan took some massive shots and went into his shell too much. Against the ropes/in close Khan is useless.

Also saying no wonder nobody fights in DC is never going to win him fans in the U.S came across a complete nob.

I'd just like to add, Peterson is World level. Who ever said he wasn't, is either deluded or wants a rise.

Khan is also World level and quite possibly a little bit better.

When you are consistantly willing to test your ability against the best at the weight, experienced World class operators, then you have to be fully focused and I think this is where Khan slipped up. From what I've seen Peterson knows his weaknesses and worked on them in a great training camp before this fight. Credit where credit is due.

I'm a big Khan fan, you'd like to think he has it in him to use this as another lesson. hopefully he can put on a better show if there's a rematch.

he hasn't many manners though

Khan reminds me of Nas (nothing to do with ethnicity) in that he seems to be surrounded by leeches and hangers on (including family members) who are guiding him badly.

Personally, I'd prefer to see him surrounded by serious boxing people rather than extended family members etc who are out for a bit of reflected glory.

Saus-saj his little fluffer must be tweeting his little balls off this morning to all the "haterz"

Why dig around for the truth / blame ?

The PR is getting in the way of the facts here: Khan is shit.

"ah but he won a silver..." it's all bollocks. As a professional he has absolutely destroyed by a Columbian bin man. Now he was taken to the wire and lost against a reasonably durable, but ultimately limited fringe contender. "ah he will come back stronger" will he balls - why can't people see through the Seckbacks ?

He comes out all blazing for 1.5 rounds, then if the opponent is still there when the dust settles he just falls around like Bambi on ice.

Last night he put his gloves in the air more times than on Lamont's face. The only damage he did was with his elbow.

The confusion at ringside was when GBP realised their pencil rubbers weren't working because the judges used ink !
