I don't think Nasty is American, his knwoledge of the BBC, ITV and Sky is way too extensive for this to be the case. If he were a septic then his research qualities would be commendable but alas he is quite obviously far too simple for that.

Just to let you know.

I'm a American who has spent part's of his life in England. I spent 3 years at the University of Plymouth and loved every moment there.

Although I knew a little bit about british boxing before i came here, my appreciation of it became bigger when i was here. I still remember the Nigel benn vs McClenen fight vividly!

Since than, I've stayed in touch with the scene and got my Monthly Tapes of British boxing sent to me from a guy in Manchester.

Let me ask you this, I bet lot's of you guys follow the American fight scene so why do you guys not allow an American to follow your scene?

My views about british boxing are based on various articles I READ AND Insider KNOWLEDGE. I also love to read BOXING MONTHLY.

Also i've exchanged emails with the head of BBC boxing when he requested feedback.

Compared to the OVER THE TOP style of american boxing coverage, I love the coverage the BBC have brought to boxing. It is more intellectual and up market.

Also i was very impressed with audley and it was great to see him on ESPN.

Some of my comments may piss you guys off but American's are confrontational by nature!

it's great that the BBC are showing a lot of good boxing these days,but i do get pissed of with them for not putting a 2 hour show instead of the
90 minute shows they put on as i would like to see more of the fights
on the undercard,i'm a bif fan of carl thompson,and if the woods v
johnson fight on friday goes the full 12 rounds we will not get to see
much of his fight,am i right in saying that thompson fights for a
world title on friday.

Good point Red Dragon... Woods ve Johnson is certain to go the distance I think (Woods will be making a big mistake if he thinks he can ko Johnson) and so that means we will probably only get highlights of Thompson vs Rothmann... and that bound to be a thriller... I ve never seen Carl in anything resembling a boring fight!...

There's always the chance that Woods gets stopped though.

no, i'm not a professional boxer but a very good amateur!

I chose to go to university when I had the chance to turn pro and I REGRET IT EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE!

I now work with training kid's and teaching them some computer stuff as well but it isn't the same!

I considering turning pro within the next 6 months but I'LL BE VERY HONEST with myself and if I don't at least get to within a Title shot than I won't bother!
