I thought the decision was fair (could have gone either way), and I thought the ref was fair. However, I do think it is worth investigating about who this bloke was and what was he doing - for future anyway.

At least Khan is wording his questions well, he is just asking who is he and what's he doing. Nothing wrong with that.

They showed it on Sky Sports News this morning in real time and it defintly looks shady. You definitly see him handling what Khan calls the white and yellow scorecards and he is talking with the supervisor at several points from thr 6th round onwards. No idea who he is and it wasn't him landing on Khan's chin all night, but when you see it, it definitly looks suspect.

If Peterson had actually committed to the rematch as he said he would afterwards, rather than instantly touting around for other offers, I doubt any of this would have come up.

Strange people call Khan a sore loser considering the abuse he got after negative Paul McCloskey, who hardly threw a punch all night, and the Hearns bitched and moaned after he got stopped on a cut (having lost every round).

the footage of interference is extremely serious whether you think Khan won or lost

this needs to be looked at

I for one would like to hail Khan, because his brave stand on this issue has shown up the efforts of a totalitarian regime to manage information & thus keep us in the dark about... Oh, never mind.

Didn't I read that the 'commitment' to a rematch was made by Peterson at hospital after the fight, virtually thru the cubicle curtains as he was being checked for head injuries? And why should he commit to a rematch? If the Khan team was so bothered about it why not insert it a suitable clause? Perhaps because (just for a change) they were being staggeringly arrogant? Gobbles - what has McCloskey got to do with this? Other than the fact that he is a losing party (in controversial circs, just like Amir) who (just like Amir) didn't get the rematch he wanted? Also Gobbles - are you honestly saying you don't think Amir is a sore loser?

Peterson committed to a rematch at the post-fight press conference even say he was willing to go to UK as Khan had come to his home city. He also said it in the ring and his manager said it to Golden Boy after.
What McCloskey has to do with it is many on here accused Khan of some sort of con job over McCloskey, when it was a BBBC doctor that stopped the fight, and yet bitch about him now.
I don't think Khan is a sore loser. I think he got robbed by the referee. Name another occasion that a boxer has ever been deducted even one point for pushing.
How different is this to Lennox Lewis and the fuss after the first Holyfield fight? Easy to accuse Khan of being a sore loser, but apply that view also to Lewis, or Carl Froch who constantly claimed he lost a hometown decision to Kessler, a fight most people thought Kessler won.

Whether you think he is a sore loser or not is ENTIRELY IMMATERIAL. We're talking about a mystery man coming in and blatantly interfering with the judges at work. That needs to be investigated.

The really interesting fact is. The Guy is wearing a credential issued by the Promoter. Who was the Promoter? Golden Boy! They don't know who he is? Come on please!

The Guy is quite obviously an official you can hardly sit at the Officials table unnoticed can you?

It's quite frankly pathetic and if his team were sat behind this situation why didn't they ask WTF he was on the night?

Crazy sour grapes. It's not like this was the guy continually pushing Petersen is it?

Golden Boy screwed up by not getting Petersen under contract and this is just a smokescreen to appease Khan and his wholely unprofessional rabble of a team rather than hold their hands up.

GBP would have known who the officials were in advance and could have checked their records and experience easily enough. They promoted the fight, they chose Washington as the site and they screwed up the contract. There would have been a British Board guy there and he would have picked up on any dodgy goings on at the table as that is what he is there doing, representing the Brit.

How can a guy tamper with three different cards and match three different sets of handwriting and go unnoticed? The individual cards are collected and then entered on to a master score card. It's as fool proof as possible.

He is clearly a accreditted official FFS.

It's pathetic!

I really don't believe that at such a high profile fight a 'mystery man' can just walk up in full view of everybody and tamper or interfer with anything? Surely the jusge would have said, 'ermmmm mate.....fornicate off will ya i'm working' or shouted securtity and said......'who the fornicate is this joker sat next to me? or are you thinking......corruption!!!!! :o :shame:

Amir isn't doing himself any favours with all of this. But as we see in the pictures, the mystery guy is always either sat in front of or next to Oscar De La Hoya. Surely if he was up to no good Mr 'I like to wear women's clothes' would have spotted something shady going on?

The best thing Amir Khan can do is get back in the ring and show that he just had a bad night at the office against Peterson.

As this was happening right in front of De La Hoya et al during one of their promotions and live to the 'millions of fans around the world' and the Khan camp have watched the tape on numerous occasions to look at how he was robbed and never warned for point deductions.

How come it's taken a month to say anything on it? There's your conspiracy!!

It's Lamont Peterson, time-travelling from 2035 to the present day.

In reality, he was beaten by Khan, and from there on in his life took a downward spiral. He ended up being Khan's butler, and was haunted by this loss.

Until twenty-odd years later, he stumbled upon an ungaurded flux-capicator enabled deLorean. Seeing this as his opportunity, he went back to the moment his life turned to mush, fixed the cards, and changed the future for himself.

What a crock of shite from Khan and Co. He lost, get over it. No amount of conspiracy rubbish is going to change the result. He was warned about the pushing and had the points taken from him. His fault. In some rings he would have been disqualified for hitting after "break" like he did before the second point deduction(remember Jamie Mooore).

With regards to the mystery man. Where is the proof that this guy was influencing things in Peterson's favour? Promotor De la Hoya did'nt appear to have a problem with this guy and he was sitting only a few feet away.

Maybe in the immediate aftermath of the fight Peterson did agree in principle to the rematch. After all the bleating and downright disgusting tactics of trying to sully Peterson's win and the hope to take the titles from him by outside ring chicanery, if I was Peterson I would tell Khan to go f himself! I wouldn't give a shit how much I earned next time out I'd make sure it was not Khan.

Peterson earned the title the hard way, give everything he had in the fight and was humble in victory. Now the greatest night of his life is being sullied by the crying of a spoilt brat who has thrown the dummy out of his pram.

Khan, shame on you and GBP.

Exactly!

It does not matter who you think won the fight, or if you think Khan is a sore loser. The point is nobody should be able to interfere with a judge during a fight at any level, never mind a title fight. This dude was all over the judge, he even had the efffing scorecard in his hand at one point. I dont care who won, or even who fought, this dudes actions need to be investigated.

Is Khan stupid? Actually, don't answer that.

He identifies the "judge" as Michael Walsh. Well Michael Walsh wasn't judging, he was the WBA supervisor.

I think that's fair enough.

It was a very close fight. And, yes, Khan has whined about the defeat. But this is obviously not right and should be looked into.

I blame Republicans. Clearly they got the ring girls to hypnotise the judges who in turn wrote the scores down at the behest of the accredited guy in the hat. Give Amir his belts back, everyone's out to get him
