All i'm saying is I'l obvious I feel sorry for his family, but anyone who involves themselves with that shit knows the risks, he obviously wasn't going down to give that fella a hug and say give us the money u owe us laddy.

Just because he was a talented boxer shouldn't excuse that he was a drug dealer - in fact the fact he had that talent and wasted it makes it worse.

Obviously I dont know him personally and hopefully he's resting there in peace, but I personally will never lose sleep over a dead drug dealer.
No sympathy really... I'll reserve my sympathy for those who choose not to live a law abiding life
You appear to have contradicted yourself.
More like terrible grammar.

He came so close to winning PF 2 years back. I actually had him winning the first 2 rounds before Arron bundled him over.

Agreed.

I am supposed to be working here you know - sorry if I don't concentrate every last bit of my attention to grammar on an internet forum.

Still stay to my point.

It is a sad story and most people who knew Brett would agree that he was a personable enough sort of lad. However, regardless of the metric used, by no stretch of the imagination was he a "great boxer"; he was fairly decent.

Under 20's amateur champ, open class aba champion, aba finalist and as a pro prizefighter finalist which he lost due to a knockdown in last round of last fight he was winning against the future british champ as a weight above his usual fighting weight?? Yea sounds fairly decent. I know he never shined in every pro fight u probably watched but he was a very good fighter not saying an all time great but much much better than fairly decent just only saw what he was slighty capable of.

Not if he's on the jury he cant. Line one, page one, that is.

Good to have the opinions of a skinhead here, i must say. The last skinhead we had on here was first rate.

Like I said, fairly decent. I'm not being disrespectful just realistic. If you start labelling guys like Brett as "very good", what do you call guys like Richie Woodhall, for example?
id call mr woodhall fxckin brilliant :TU:

Got me stumped , why every time a boxer does something wrong or lives by the wrong code , people say its a shame , its not his fault , pack of bleeding hearts, facts are he was a viscous stand over man slash DRUG FDEALER , who scared his customer so much he shot him . Now you don't think for one minuite that if the killer was'nt scared he would of shot him

The killer is obviously a known druggie or drug dealer , because he got raided , and he was scared of a bigger fish up the chain , so all in all , A facking good result . Four known crims and drug dealers / druggies scumbag , viscous cants , are now of the streets

Personaly i would like to see more of it . it would be good if half of all the low life scumbag druggies and chavs , were to take arms and shoot the other half , then we could bring back hanging , and finish off the rest for murder .

Course according to some of you bleeding heart, arse lickers , if they were boxers or ex boxers , they would have to be let off .

errr.......its a boxing forum Eric and flournoy was a decent boxer..thats why its up. I am certainly interested in reading about it. I read about Biggs and the Krays etc...i dont need to have sympathy for them!

i too have no sympathy for the fellas if their involvement is as stated in the press article, i do have sympathy for their families and loved ones. but drugs are a mugs game, a dangerous game, russian roulette with your life and the law.

its the families that suffer, my heart goes out to them. I wonder if anyone knew about his secret 'occupation' ....?

That puzzled me a little as well. Upon further research, it turns out there were only a dozen animals being kept and no grains or vegatables being grown. Not really a farm, more of an outsized area for privileged livestock.

Skunk was been grown in shipping containers fitted with Hydroponics and the they were buried beneath the ground to evade being detected by infrared.

So the man who killed 2 drug debt enforcers and then buried them was a land owner with no obvious source of income?

To be honest i think you should keep your opinions to yourself. None of you know what really happened and none of you knew Brett. Why even chat about someone who was murdered regardless of why or how. He isnt here to defend himself. He had 3 young boys who have been left without a dad. Have some respect.

I think we have seen enough boxers recently get up to no good in the drugs world. They are probably nice guys who are just chasing a cheap buck.

I hope this is a message to many people who might want to go down that route to stay away, get your seconds liscence or something, train kids ect

Unfortunately people involved in drugs do not deserve an ounce of respect, its a mugs game, does not matter who you are. if brett was not involved in it (his choice) then he would be alive today to see his lads grow up, harsh but true. he was murdered because he got involved in things that can get you murdered!

Apologies if i sound harsh but i am sure a lot of people would agree with me. somewhere in all of our families we know someone who had or is getting their life ruined by drugs.
