David Price vs John McDermott RBR and your scores
Re: David Price vs John McDermott RBR and your scores
Pricey baby!
Demolition job.
Price did get hit cleanly on the chin with a big right but it didn't affect him one iota. Granted McDermott isn't a massive puncher, but some people where saying an upset could happen if he landed.

Well I am pretty sure he goes further than Fury.exittored wrote:I still think Price will get knocked out once he gets in with real quality...he gets hit too easy.
Re: David Price vs John McDermott RBR and your scores
Chisora has a great chin though and Fury has enough power to knock out Price.leforge wrote:Price hits harder than Fury. Fury could not stop the punchbag that was Chisora that night.john welsh wrote:I dont know why i think mcdermott got hit harder by fury but when price hit him he just flopped..didn`t look like he wanted to be there.
Fury beats Price for me but David could easily knock him out too...hope it happens in 6 months.
Re: David Price vs John McDermott RBR and your scores
Glenn McCrory saying the Klits will be sitting up and taking notice of that...behave! He's got a long long way to go before he gets to that level. He's only done 32 professional rounds!!

Oh apologies; just read them...... yes Price was in my opinion very impressive tonightFinch wrote:Have you read my previous posts? I agree, but as John just said it was his only chance and it failed. He was never going to outbox a guy bigger and technically better than him so he tried to rush him and catch him cold.MachoMan09 wrote:I've always said that I think Price is the best of the current crop. I stand by that. My point is that you don't come out gunning for an Olympic medallist like you come out gunning for a novice amateur. John was foolish tonight.
Kudos to Price, it was a peach of a shot the uppercut and I just hope we see more of him now.

He is very fast - I think he can go places!MachoMan09 wrote:Dillion White has kickboxer written all over him. He's far too square on. Good to watch, though.

Too fast - he's spinning round swinging and missing badly!!!Fat Git wrote:He is very fast - I think he can go places!MachoMan09 wrote:Dillion White has kickboxer written all over him. He's far too square on. Good to watch, though.

That was comedy...Dillion White doing a 360 spin that Torville and Dean would have been proud of!Fat Git wrote:He is very fast - I think he can go places!MachoMan09 wrote:Dillion White has kickboxer written all over him. He's far too square on. Good to watch, though.

I think he lacks power - but this may be technique. He has the athleticismFat Git wrote:He is very fast - I think he can go places!MachoMan09 wrote:Dillion White has kickboxer written all over him. He's far too square on. Good to watch, though.

Only 4th fight think he can develop well. Would be good in prizefighter.reggaereggae wrote:I think he lacks power - but this may be technique. well thats has saved me some time and writing lol
i hope Price gets a few mid-ranked Americans over that can give him a few rounds as i cant see him fighting Fury next. I think they will let the fight build for a while

Define real quality? Outside K2?
How about that short Canadian non-puncher who put Fury on his back?

I think price would KO pajkic in few rounds. He has a big punch.gobbles wrote:exittored wrote:Well some of the guys Fury has fought would be a start like Derek Chisora.Finch wrote: He was in with a decent operator

There was a rumour on Twitter today that Fury fights Eddie Chambers next in an un-official eliminator to fight Vitalileforge wrote:I think price would KO pajkic in few rounds. Re: David Price vs John McDermott RBR and your scores
How can anyone that wants to have their respected opinion about David Price as a n HW contender even be taken seriously until/we have seen Price be put down and see him get back up and win ?
He looked good tonight but lets see what hes like before we put his dick in our mouths

Re: David Price vs John McDermott RBR and your scores
Usually when a heavyweight gets put down its over, how many times did Lennox get put down and get up to win?? Your talking bollocks, heavyweights are different
Re: David Price vs John McDermott RBR and your scores
Sounds like we can't take Vitali seriously.
Re: David Price vs John McDermott RBR and your scores
I'm reserving judgement until I see Vitali get up from a knockdown and win.Karl Jade wrote:Sounds like we can't take Vitali seriously.
Re: David Price vs John McDermott RBR and your scores
I believe Fury got hurt in one of his fights with Mc Dermott. Fury in my opinion is overrated, he beat an awful Dereck Chisora for the British title.
Hennessey isn't going to let this fight happen. Fury will probably vacate and Price will fight who ever the BBBofC tells him to for the vacant title.

Only if both Klitschko's retire imo.Karl Jade wrote:We've learnt he can punch through a pretty solid chin.MachoMan09 wrote:Don't get too carried away by that, people. Price did the business but John made it very easy in there for him tonight. Totally reckless. We already knew Price can punch, we haven't learnt anything else.
Price will be a world champion within 2 years. His power is simply too good.
Re: David Price vs John McDermott RBR and your scores
I agree with Machoman, although Price made an impressive statement we learned nothing new. Just because Fury struggled against John doesn't mean we should overreact when assessing Price's potential as a world class heavyweight. In fact, watching from ringside it was apparent how square on and open Price was when he let his punches go. Against a better fighter.........
