It said he generated around $696m in pay per view. But generated, his share of that and what he took home are three entirely different things. I don't know what he would get from PPV, assume 25%. So thats $174m then taxes etc off that probably down to $87m.

His purses will substantially add to his earnings. Not to mention marketing, sponsorship, image rights etc etc - All chickenfeed compared to PPV/purses but substantially more than your average person earns in a lifetime.

The UK sportsman rich list was released by the Sunday Times at the weekend, was interesting to see that Khan has already made more money than Joe Calzaghe. I thought Calzaghe would have made alot more money.
