Fury is a solid puncher and his power may well be enough to stop Price.
Fury may be a solid puncher but he's not a hard puncher, he's a pub brawler. He's rarely set to throw a punch because he's wobbling all over the show... ask McDermott who punches harder

I'd go for a mentally fit prepared Fury to beat Price. It would be worth seeing thats for sure.

Some fighters it is easy to tell they won't go that far, if they are technically poor but it's covered up by power, which you can say was the case for Price

But what you can't always tell, until it is really tested, is if they have a weak chin or piss poor engine.

I think a few picked up on Price's lack of technical ability early on (I didn't, I was just dazzled by the power in his right hand  )

But there was no way of telling he would hit the wall the way he did in his career. His technical short-comings were not his undoing in the end.

That's why I was far less eager to get on the AJ and Mundo Smith hype trains. You never know if they will answer those big questions.

AJ seems to improved (to an extent) on some of his movement issues and has ticked a few boxes regards his durability in the Wlad and Takam fights.

Smith is still a big stiff idiot

Can price take a punch? nearly ko`d by a journeyman in his debut.
fury can take a punch as has been shown multiple times.
can price do 12 rounds?
fury has.
can price box at a high pace
fury has.

see my point price hasn`t done anything of the sort,he`s ko`d a few cans and suddenly he`s gonna become the next world champion.
price fights about 1 a year and against sub par opponents where as fury is active and has been in the ring with unbeaten opponents and beaten them all,at the age of 23 to..imagine what he`d been like at 28 like price is,price is 28 and hasn`t done anything near what fury has done.
price can give a shot, but what happens when furys workrate and right cross land on prices chin?!?!?!
Price has amateur pedigree. You have a point about the 12 rounds, but not about the other things. Fury's a non-puncher, so Price's chin wouldn't be an issue.

Funny reading this thread now, everyone though Price would muller Fury back then.

He might do just enough to survive the 6 and hold on for the win without gassing. An 8 rounder or more and he'd probably lose.
