Nice to see Vitali and Haye shake hands at the end

.... from what I saw. Chisora was clearly fronting Haye with nothing more than to call Haye names.
Hence why he had the microphone .. hence why he clearly didn`t expect Haye to fire off a couple punches.
Why do people still want to see haye in with Vitali?
Haye exposed himself as a fraud against Wlad .. he will do exactly the same against Vitali if he gets the chance too.
It wouldn`t bother me in the slightest if we don`t see Chisora or Haye in a boxing ring ever again.
Neither of them are that good, both are certainly not special.
If haye wants a title chance then let him fight for the opportunity .. not just hope his outside the ring antics or mouth get him the chance.

Is that a joke? Haye couldn't even drop Chisora with 2 punches to the jaw without gloves. There's no way Haye - especially with his 10 punches per round philosophy - could ever stop Dereck.
Silly pudenda still thinking Haye's some inside-fighting KO artist like Tyson. Ludicrous.

Especially as Third Space was only open for a year and the level he's claiming to be proficient at then was incredibly, incredibly high.
Little confused, third space been open for years, and haye was a member and trained there for his first 10 or 12 fights, he joined in with some martial artists from time to time, his not claiming to be Bruce lee, so what's your point ?

AFAIK Third Space hasn't had a BJJ instructor since 2002 when Mauricio left and handed the management over to Roger who was already based in Kensington setting up RGA.
If he did train between 2001 and 2002, and they said what they did, that's a pretty big claim if you know who was in the team at that time.
Also, technically as a Gracie Barra student myself through Roger, I am interested to see if this is true.
If he trained there for his first 10 to 12 fights (debut was in summer of 2002 if memory serves), the timelines don't match.

I wonder why David Haye was referring to himself in the 3rd person?
I wonder if it was his toe doing the talking, as that toe of his seems to have its own identity these days.

Me and Tom Podmore will attest to the fact that if you're suprised when a boxer refers to himself in the third person then you haven't been watching boxing very long.

it's catching. Bernard Hopkins does it too. When asked about a pay dispute with boxing promoter Lou DiBella ten years ago, Hopkins said "People are saying Lou DiBella is Bernard Hopkins' savior and now Bernard Hopkins is cutting his head off. And now, guess who is promoting Bernard Hopkins? Right, Don King."
Sugar Ray Leonard. "Exactly," says Leonard, before lapsing into the third-person speak so beloved of boxers. "I knew that if Sugar Ray fights his fight, he wins. But in that first fight he got into my head, took me out of my game plan.

It definitely seems to be catching, that's why I scoffed at David Haye, because I haven't heard him do it before.
He is definitely afflicted now, although I can't think why, because he hasn't earnt the right to refer to himself in the 3rd person.

It's you who is talking out of your arse...........
Haye has demolished most of his opponents, whether at cruiserweight or heavyweight and Chisora is very easy to hit. Chisora as a heavyweight is an absolute nobody. This is a guy who lost to Tyson Fury for god's sake !! Haye fighting Chisora doesn't compare to Haye fighting Wladimir. People have suddenly deemed that Haye is a useless bag of shit because he couldn't deal with the size and awkwardness of Wladimir. Chisora is a basic domestic heavyweight who isn't that big, lacks any guile or distinct talent and is easy to hit. Look at all the right hands that Vitali landed on him and he is a declining 40 year old man miles from from his prime years. Haye's punch power essentially comes from his speed and accuracy, not from one punch knock out power and yes, he will knock out Chisora if they fight..........Which they won't !!

Top five contender
Oh, please Jessi, Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo !!
This is a guy who seems to have raised his profile on the back of three succesive defeats. I thought he won the Helenius fight, but that guy is over-rated and has a padded record, he hasn't fought anyone of note. Chisora got well beaten by Fury whatever his excuses were and was essentially dominated by a declining 40 year old fighter well out of his prime. I will tell you this, if Chisora is seen or ranked as a top five contender then heavyweight boxing is clearly dead in the water, being kept alive on a life support machine by the Klitschko's.

Name me someone else who would beat him other then, k2 haye or povetkin then ? Yes he lost to fury, no excuses but where would your money go on a rematch ? We all know he beat helenius, and he still gave Vitali a pretty good run for his money no matter what you say.

I think Chagaev, Valuev, Chambers, Dimitrenko, Arreola and Adamek all beat Chisora, plus i think Price would give him serious trouble aswell. Despite you not wanting me to name Haye and Povetkin, they also have to be added to that list. I think a re-match with Fury would be close, but it doesn't automatically follow that because he lost the first fight, he will win the second. As i said, i don't rate Helnius and as far as the Vitali fight goes, he lost the fight by a large distance. Chisora is an average domestic fighter who has gained some profile of late, but he is not a world class fighter.

Whatever you say about Chisora, he's got a solid chin.
