theres been a fair bit of madness in more recent times, such ast he malignaggi emergency hair cut

Mayweather vs Ortiz is one of the most bizarre thigns ive seen in a ring.

but the winner of recent times for me is Burns vs Cook. Felt sorry for nicky but seeing him hobble round the ring like and old man needing a hip replacement i coudnt help but laugh hysterically.

hope he recovered ok from that injury though, never heard much about it afterwards...

If memory serves me right this was the reason they introduced the 10 second warning before the bell to start each round.

Yeah, I remember that.

After the fight the interviewer asked him what happened and Lloyd said "the bell went ding and I went dong" !! ................ :bag:

Whilst I am aware that boxers are sometimes moved to vomit, actually seeing Simeon Cover honk up the contents of his stomach onto the canvas mid-round struck me as surprising, when I saw him fight Neil Tidman in Coventry.

Ultimately, though, it's hard to imagine anyone beating the Holyfield Fan-Man.

Valuev v Sidon
Referee LEFT the ring and the two men effectively fought a number of rounds with out a referee very bizarre just seeing 2 men in there.

Bonin v Silvin
Silvin seemed genuinely like an escaped mental patient, wanted to do pirouettes after every punch

Phil Williams v Brandon Burke
Burke's outfit was hilarious...but his fighting style was even funnier

I thought the 'I'm Alexander the great. I will eat your children' is weirder. There's also this guy wearing a toupee in a low level fight who gets hit so hard it dislodges it. That was odd.

Canelo Alvarez - a ginger Mexican??? Who can really fight??/

Nelson vs Fenech 3 was a bit surreal.... and fair do's they certainly entertained.

Henry Maske not boxing for 10 years and then coming back to beat a guy who he lost comfortably 10 years previously who was a world champion. Not weird, but a bit surreal.
