You'll also get better definition. If you do do some cardio, do an incline walk on the running machine. Doing 30 minutes or more and some high number is a quick way to turn yourself into a pencil neck with saggy skin.

Yeah makes a lot of sense. I made this mistake myself a couple of years ago. I went mental with the cardio and ended up looking skinny, but still having a gut. :KO:

I think you can easily get away with more cardio than that article suggests, but it's along the right lines. I lost 45kg's a few years back in about 6 months, by stupid dieting and massive amounts of cardio.

Glad I lost the weight as I'm much much healthier for it, just wish I'd gone about it differently. It's took 6 months of lifting 2-4 times per week for me to get back to about the same level of strength and probably considerably less muscle than I had when I was that heavy.

Here are some tips for losing 20 pounds:
1. Replace junk food with healthy junk food. Don't eat nuts, instead of ice cream and yogurt.
2. Don't eat too much, use 9-inch plates. Make 1/2 of the vegetables / salad and the other half into some protein.
3. Go for a walk and exercise every day, try to do 1 hour. It's much better to be consistent than to exercise and rest for 2 days.
4. Drink water, do not drink anything that is too sugary.
5. If you can adhere to the above conditions without cheating, then your basic knowledge is good, you can start to try some tactical things and see if it gives you an advantage. For example, use a men's trainer belt wIth running.

I'm also working on loosing belly fat, I would prefer bicycle crunches and elliptical training for loosing belly fat. But you should also focus on your diet to see the results. With a good diet plan you can't achieve the fitness goals you want to achieve.

wheat exersizes do you recomend?
Start with 10 reps of knee touch downs and 15 squats and 20 push ups three times in a day. As far as the diet is concern say no to carbs for sometime and start going for fiber and fruits like apple for iron. See the results in 1.5 month.

Good
-------
Lose Weight

Great
-------
Lose Weight + Increase Weight Training

Best
-------
Liposuction

No such thing as spot reduction of fat, barring liposuction or some equivalent... and you're not going to build up your abs to offset the appearance of localized fat unless you are genetic freak.

Lose weight.

People get too hung up on the specifics... macros.. vitamins, minerals, amino acids, essential fats... they miss the big picture.

90% of this is calories in vs. calories out.

As a man, want to get below 10% body fat? Then you worry about all the other bullshit.

Nothing makes me snicker more than to see the guy who is 50 pounds overweight, buying bottles of MCT oil, taking Chromium pills or investing money into some other useless bullshit when he just needs to stop shoving so much high-calorie trash into his mouth.

Agree, unless you are some bodybuilder and are looking at the extreme lows and where even a tiny difference matters to competition results, it's basically in vs out/losing weight

Keep it real real simple..

Do intermittent fasting

I skip one meal (usually breakfast) 1-3 times per week. At random.

Works great in keep the gut down. Even better, wake up drink a litre of water and do a 3 mile run.
