David Tua
Re: David Tua
chauncy wouldn't last 30 seconds imo.
Re: David Tua
If the "Fighting Panda" makes it through the ropes without injuring himself or heading back for another cheeseburger, he will last just long enough for the intros and anthems and the final instructions. When they tap gloves, Welliver will collapse in a heap of flab and roll back under the ropes.

That's a little harsh!Cap wrote:If the "Fighting Panda" makes it through the ropes without injuring himself or heading back for another cheeseburger, he will last just long enough for the intros and anthems and the final instructions. Re: David Tua
Tua is over the hill & Welliver is over rated.
Re: David Tua
Tua still destroys wellever with 1 arm.
Re: David Tua
the welliver fight is one that green should have gone for as a one off novelty imo.
after the throw away line by hyder about green's power it could have been made if he wanted yeah?
surely he wouldn't lose to chauncy regardless of weight issue.
he could have snagged some token titles and made some good cash for it.

Re: David Tua
David has not fought in 18 months. After losing to Barrett he may have decided he had no future in the sport.
Re: David Tua
i think we r all aware of davids fighting history brute.
he is suppose to be fighting in the next couple of months. keep up man!
anyone heard who his opponent may be?

Re: David Tua
Boxing is full of rumours. 18 months is a long break for a man pushing 40.
Re: David Tua
what rumours?
its from the guy himself.
KEEP UP OLD MAN.

Re: David Tua
no, i read the news sometimes. the tua camp do interviews occasionally.
they don't appear to have an opponent just yet.

Re: David Tua
Rumours often come from those "close to the fighter."
Re: David Tua
apparantly he's not fighting until July/August crazy that he's in the twilight of his career and he's still so inactive.buster007 wrote:no, i read the news sometimes. the tua camp do interviews occasionally.

Re: David Tua
No guarantee he won't stay inactive. The older you get the harder it gets.Craigyid14 wrote:apparantly he's not fighting until July/August crazy that he's in the twilight of his career and he's still so inactive.buster007 wrote:no, i read the news sometimes. the tua camp do interviews occasionally.

Re: David Tua
he certainly seems to be lacking motivation. Shame there's some good fights out there and plenty of money to be made.Brute wrote:No guarantee he won't stay inactive.
