Id like to see him in with Zaveck but dont think he is a big enough name for Hearn which is why I can see it being Maidana.

Clottey would be a good fight for Kell - I can see him winning that one comfortably.

Yeah if he can get McCloskey that would be a good earner in the UK.

Clottey hasnt got much of ranking or holding a title, thats why I think they should go for Zaveck now cos he has decent rankings all the way through and he holds a belt.

Zaveck would be a good one, I thought he was coming into the fight with Berto when it was stopped. Seems a hard man type of boxer, and will be a test. I'd say its an even fight.

On Radio Sheffield, Dominic Ingle said that Morales had been approached- but he had demanded too much money.

lol you guys. Who has Brook fought that makes people confident he would beat Clottey? Noone? Then why come to that conclusion?

Malignaggi is coming off some decent wins and only loses to the best. Is Brook the best? I don't think so.

Maidana, McCloskey, Malignaggi (to a lesser extent).

All good fights for Brook.

If he does fight Maidana, that's going to be a hell of a challenge for him.

Malignaggi is stylish, but punches like a girl. McCloskey would have no chance. Maidana is semi-interesting but Brook is too big for him IMO.

Jones, Khan, Alexander, Berto.

Anything else just wouldn't do, for me.

I'm half expecting Bredis Prescott, with the excuse Brook hasn't faced a puncher yet.

I agree unless it's someone dangerous, someone who will seriously test him it's just a marking time fight.

Maidana would be a big risk but makes sense for a lot of reasons.

- He has at least some name recognition with the average fan due to the Khan fight
- It feeds in well to the Khan/Brook storyline Matchroom are trying to build, they will bill him as the guy who was seconds away from KO'ing Amir
- The Americans know who he is
- MM is dangerous but if Brook is really going to the places they say he is then he needs to be capable of outboxing someone Maidana

I also think it would be an interesting fight as Brook likes to back off and give himself space to work, meaning Maidana would have room to fire those overhand rights over the top all night.

Forget about the likes of Berto for the time being IMO, especially as there's no way those sort of opponents are coming to the UK.

Its not that bad of a fight, for the simple reason is we dont know how good brooks chin is at least we will find something out about him. Its not my choice but i wouldnt be completely against it if they cant get any other fights set up.
