I don't rate Cleverley a Top 10 Light Heavy as there are 10 guys at that weight i think beat him pretty comfortably and then there's another 5 that i'd say would be 50-50 fights.

These are the 10 who would beat Cleverley:

Bernard Hopkins
Chad Dawson
Tavouris Cloud
Jean Pascal
Mikkel Kessler
Isaac Chilemba - seen him a few times and would be too cute for Clev.
Gabriel Campillo
Ismayl Sillakh - this guy will be the dominant Light Heavy a year from now.
Zsolt Erdei - people forget he's the linear champ plus still unbeaten.
Chris Henry - crude but the hardest hitting light heavy and all it would take is one punch against Clev.

These are 5 that i would give a 50-50 chance of beating Clev

Juergen Braehmer - Not great but still a level above Karo Murat.
Luis Garcia - not one of the best cubans but has some potential.
Adrian Diaconu - a very dangerous guy who would give clev fits.

Dmitry Sukhotsky - again i rate this guy a level above Karo Murat.

So Cleverly is pulling what we now call a "Calzaghe". I guess these are the kind of opponents Cleverly will be defending the WBO against for the next 10 years. We better get used to it.

Yes, 175 is a deep division at the moment. I'd take Clev over Henry and Shumenov, but that's it really. Never seen Garica fight so can't comment on him. And to be honest I wouldn't even be that confident of him beating Allan Greene, as if nothing else he can punch. I don't think for all of the talk there's any chance of Hopkins coming over here in the summer. I expect a load of WBO mandatories for the next couple of years so Warren can milk the title for as long as he can get away with.

Of that list, Sillakh will be the guy that dominates the division. I think he will pretty much rule it like Roy Jones did in the late 90's and 00's. Warren won't have Cleverley within a country mile of of Sillakh and if he ever becomes WBO mandatory, Cleverley wil vacate.
