Re: Froch Undercard- OCHIENG V AA LOWE (English Belt)

What are your predictions on Ochieng v Lowe
He was on the verge of beating unbeaten Jamie Ball and had won every round on the judges card before a clash of heads caused a technical draw and he was supposed to fight Young Mutley 30-6 former british champion and European title challenger and was fancied by many to beat him, before Mutley pulled out, Ochieng had lost to fighter with a winning record before he beat one, so your argument is not strong, Nasser was also picked by BBB of C to fight an eliminator for the same title, before Ochieng was in the picture, considering Nasser was winning that one before a really bad stoppage for a very small cut, do you have an argument ?smoggy7188 wrote:I am missing something but who has Al Harbi beat? He hasnt won against anyone with a winning record yet.
No, your as good a salesman as memcato wrote:Are you getting me back for Nasser Vs Mutley's comments I made? But you gotta remember Lowe is a 2 weight Champion.safeerah wrote:True, but not good for boxing though. Like everyone else I was wonderfully entertained when Ochieng won the title, but this one, he will do what he wants, when he wants, how he wants.mcato wrote: Come on Saf it was a joke. As we know you can only fight who is in front of you. Hearns is smart he is putting a few Nottingham fighters on the bill. Liverpool has its time and Sheffield also but now its Nottingham.
So why has he pulled out? and who is he going to fight. I know a boxer who is crying out to fight.....Joe Selkirk.safeerah wrote:He was on the verge of beating unbeaten Jamie Ball and had won every round on the judges card before a clash of heads caused a technical draw and he was supposed to fight Young Mutley 30-6 former british champion and European title challenger and was fancied by many to beat him, before Mutley pulled out, Ochieng had lost to fighter with a winning record before he beat one, so your argument is not strong, Nasser was also picked by BBB of C to fight an eliminator for the same title, before Ochieng was in the picture, considering Nasser was winning that one before a really bad stoppage for a very small cut, do you have an argument ?smoggy7188 wrote:I am missing something but who has Al Harbi beat? It would need to be another Midlands based fighter to keep the theme and possibly sell the tickets. Mark Lloyd would be a decent enough yard stick?????mcato wrote: So why has he pulled out? and who is he going to fight. I know a boxer who is crying out to fight.....Joe Selkirk.
Maybeee, I don't know, put up a good show against Jamie Cox, but since then has not done a lot and did not look good against Mutley, but the Midlands theme I can agree with. The Insider wrote:It would need to be another Midlands based fighter to keep the theme and possibly sell the tickets. Lloyd is worse than Mutley, talk about stepping back...The Insider wrote:It would need to be another Midlands based fighter to keep the theme and possibly sell the tickets. Agreed but IF (and its an if) DC is having to get another Midlands based fighter in to pad the place out there is little other alternative (possibly Portman). I still think Lloyd v Nas would be a decent enough fight. I expect Nas would dominate from the outside but Mark has huge heart and is very determind and keeps coming so would Nas cope with the pressure. Ideally I'd like to see Nas v Ball again and to finally see whiz the better man.Tommy Gunn13 wrote:Lloyd is worse than Mutley, talk about stepping back...The Insider wrote:It would need to be another Midlands based fighter to keep the theme and possibly sell the tickets. Nasser has fought at welter, though because of lack of opportunities,we tried light middle, for the Ball fight we weighed in light at 10.11 and 11.3 on the day, since when has Selkirk made Light Middle ? On the day of the fight he weighs about 12.5 stone, he is being fed smaller men, let him fight some good Middles then we will see how good he is.
You don't know anything about boxing mate, Selkirk is one- dimentional and has was lucky to beat O'Meara and pushed by inferior fighters, he is quite slow and needs fight boxers his own size.Tommy Gunn13 wrote:Cant see DC putting Al Haarbi anywhere near Selkirk,Nasser would get anialatedmcato wrote:So why has he pulled out? and who is he going to fight. Firstly we don't go after anyone, the Promoter choices the matches I agree if there is something to gain career wise. We know Thomas very well and have sparred with him many times, good fighter but he is fighting for the world youth title about a week or two after our fight. Maybe you should stick your liverpool sources.smoggy7188 wrote:Tom Costello is a Midlander, why dont u go after him?

Hey, ill take your word for it, but I'd personally like to see the aforementioned fight to a satisfactory conclusion. I got the feeling it was just about to bubble up nicely.safeerah wrote:
Insider when are you going get INSIDER the Ball camp and see they don't want anything to do with Al Harbi because they know who is the better man.
Insider nobody would like the rematch more then Nasser believe me, he has a technical draw on his record for terrible decision by the officials, when he was in control and getting stronger. The Insider wrote:Hey, ill take your word for it, but I'd personally like to see the aforementioned fight to a satisfactory conclusion. Trolling early mate. We was on the verge of fighting him last year but they wanted to weigh in at 11st 4 Ilbs the day before and gave us 2 weeks notice, bet you did not know that Selkirks biggest fan, lets see who goes the furthest shall we then I will remind you, easy to sit by your computer and talk bul when not a party to itl. We fight on away shows as well, not just on home shows and look at the O'meara fight, when he is in with a boxer instead of a journeyman he struggles a bit, lets see if he can fight at 11st on the day, nasser can do that any day of the week, like I said you do not know about boxing, now go back and watch your Selkirk videos again.Tommy Gunn13 wrote:I know enough about boxing to know Selkirk would hammer Nasser..ask for the fight then if you think differantsafeerah wrote:You don't know anything about boxing mate, Selkirk is one- dimentional and has was lucky to beat O'Meara and pushed by inferior fighters, he is quite slow and needs fight boxers his own size.Tommy Gunn13 wrote: Cant see DC putting Al Haarbi anywhere near Selkirk,Nasser would get anialated
