Fury beat what was put in front of him, simple as that. Fury would beat Helenius with ease.Crazyboy wrote:fao kiethmoon (and any other fury lovers),
Fury is british title standard only....end of.
Even if he wins tonight he has no class at all...........world class?????? give me a break, best training camp he has ever had etc? whatever.
Can anyone come back at me?
He did it for the whole fight, didn't land much in the first two but was never hurt by Rogan. I thought it was a decent performance from Fury, albeit against an average opponent. Though I'm not sure I agree with Hennessey about Fury 'wiping the floor with Povetkin' right now!The Dark Destroyer wrote:Only caught the last two rounds, how much did he fight southpaw?
That made me giggle too then a couple of casual fans asked me what I was giggling at, told them so they asked who else is there and I was like eerrrrr.....so for the casual British fan I'd say meaty Mick I spot on.greenyox3 wrote:He's the "biggest star in HW boxing, behind the Klitschko's" apparently.
dont tell horse that.Camcas wrote:Fury is most overated fighter currently in Britain, Price would walk over him I don't even think its a test for Price
what do you honestly see in fury? and i do mean that seriously?Horse wrote:He is and Fury is one of the most underrated.Finch wrote:And you think Price is by far the most overhyped british boxer?![]()
Don't get into this argument. You'll end up with a headache.Crazyboy wrote:what do you honestly see in fury? and i do mean that seriously?Horse wrote:He is and Fury is one of the most underrated.Finch wrote:And you think Price is by far the most overhyped british boxer?![]()

Im not sure about that i think its a pick em fight. Price is very highly regarded and it may well be warranted but who's he actually fought? Chisora is leagues above anyone price has been in the ring with, to be honest rogan is probably far better than most of prices opponents and pavjik. Mc D is the only half decent name on prices cv.Camcas wrote:Fury is most overated fighter currently in Britain, Price would walk over him I don't even think its a test for Price
Just seen the replay, not sure about the time left but that shot definitely hurt him.celerygolf wrote:Was very odd stoppage as you say only seconds left. Rogan was looking at corner for a good three seconds when he wasn't hurt. Very iffy!! Channel five now talking fury up. He is going nowhere!!!
The problem is that who can be really seen as proper world class fighters outside of the Klitschko's ? Povetkin maybe, but after that your struggling. Heavyweight boxing is a bit like the sea bed falling out from underneath your feet at a particular point. There is no middle ground anymore or at least not much of a middle ground. There is no proper intermediatary level (Euro or equivilant in the states) that bridges the gap between domestic level and world level. You get domestic level, a few decent fighters above that such as Chambers etc and then go straight to the Klitschko's, which is why the Klitschko's dominate every fight they have. That middle tier doesn't exist anymore. Fury isn't world class by a long shot, but because of the lack of middle tier fighters he will line up against the Klitschko's in the same way as Chisora, Thiompson, Adamek and the last guy who Wlad fought.Crazyboy wrote:i have valued your comments ever since i have been on this forum, mate please, he is british title at best.keithmoonhangover wrote:Fury beat what was put in front of him, simple as that. He is completely shite, what honestly makes you believe he is world class? the kliits would eat him alive......argue with me?
The only decent fighter that Price has beaten is the heaviest version of John McDermott.Camcas wrote:Fury is most overated fighter currently in Britain, Price would walk over him I don't even think its a test for Price
He is tall, powerful, entertaining, throws good combinations and is willing to throw punches to the body. He is a good all rounder. He is also charismatic and likes to keep active and fight often. What is there not to like?Crazyboy wrote:what do you honestly see in fury? and i do mean that seriously?
Why do you say that?states wrote:Don't get into this argument. You'll end up with a headache.
I scored it the same way.fightscorecollector wrote:How did yous all have the fight at the time of stoppage??...i had Fury 38-37 up...i think Fury looked good tonight , very patient and knew that he would graduly break Rogan
Because you're stubborn in your views, if nothing else.Horse wrote:Why do you say that?states wrote:Don't get into this argument. You'll end up with a headache.
