Fury didn't look comfortable fighting southpaw. You can cover up equally well as an orthadox fighter. Rogan is a 40 year old guy who hadn't fought for a year, so it doesn't tell us anything new about Tyson. Good body shot to end the fight but as other people have said, the stoppage looked strange as Rogan only had a few seconds to survive the round. The way the heavyweight scene is at the moment, Tyson could get the European title, beat a few top ten fighters but he would get slaughtered by the Klitschko's. He is still way more hype than reality IMO, but he is entertaining and a nice kid.

Helinius is not great but Fury would not risk it against him. That fight won't happen.

Im not sure about that i think its a pick em fight. Price is very highly regarded and it may well be warranted but who's he actually fought? Chisora is leagues above anyone price has been in the ring with, to be honest rogan is probably far better than most of prices opponents and pavjik. Mc D is the only half decent name on prices cv.

The problem is that who can be really seen as proper world class fighters outside of the Klitschko's ? Povetkin maybe, but after that your struggling. Heavyweight boxing is a bit like the sea bed falling out from underneath your feet at a particular point. There is no middle ground anymore or at least not much of a middle ground. There is no proper intermediatary level (Euro or equivilant in the states) that bridges the gap between domestic level and world level. You get domestic level, a few decent fighters above that such as Chambers etc and then go straight to the Klitschko's, which is why the Klitschko's dominate every fight they have. That middle tier doesn't exist anymore. Fury isn't world class by a long shot, but because of the lack of middle tier fighters he will line up against the Klitschko's in the same way as Chisora, Thiompson, Adamek and the last guy who Wlad fought.

The only decent fighter that Price has beaten is the heaviest version of John McDermott.

Fury is a world top 10/15 ranked heavyweight, I am pretty sure that he can test Price.

Not the dust up i was expecting. Fury's patience was better tonight and he picked the few shots he threw very well.
I thought Rogan looked in superb condition, so a semi legit test which fury passed with ease. I still think Price would do him, however i'm happily enjoying them both progress.

He is tall, powerful, entertaining, throws good combinations and is willing to throw punches to the body. He is a good all rounder. He is also charismatic and likes to keep active and fight often. What is there not to like?

A poor fight tonight tbh I wasn't interested too much when the match was made and the fight proved me correct. Rogan is a shot fighter he's had his little burst of success a few years ago and that was that really. Fury, well he boxed nicely but for me this fight didn't really prove anything and I'm unsure about the whole southpaw thing. I think that could all come undone against a better fighter.

How did yous all have the fight at the time of stoppage??...i had Fury 38-37 up...i think Fury looked good tonight , very patient and knew that he would graduly break Rogan

I scored it the same way.

I honestly thought that the tactic was to take the steam out of Rogan and then at some point switch back to the orthadox stance and put the pressure on. I seriousy doubt that Tyson will stay as a southpaw because it didn't really work for him. I was waiting for the moment he was going to switch back, but alas he finished the job a little too early
