I think he'd beat old man Skelton and maybe give Sprott and big bad John a 50/50. But he'd struggle with the rest of the british top ten, Surely De mori is a fight that has to happen if he goes back to Aus. What happened to the kick boxer who was about 5-0?

But that's just it, he doesn't need a fight with Edwards, as entertaining as it would be, if he's converted to boxing he needs to face some clever thinking fighters at his level, muscle for muscle he'll always be at the 50-50 mark or more, so there's no doubting his power, just how will he react if someone can take that power away from him and forces him to rely on other attributes?
There are a couple of fighters here that i believe could do that.

I think it's a good move him going over to England. He's signed up with Hatton promotions and even though they've lost the lucractive sky deal he's still 4th or 5th down the bill to near sell out crowds. He's a bit of an unknown quantity but certainly looks the business physique and apperence wise, fvck if I was back in England and had never heard of this guy I'd be intrigued. Huge tattoed bloke from down under. I'm interested to know what sort of money he's getting though.

He's getting paid a healthy amount mate. A lot better than he would be fighting here in Australia, where crowds are generally a lot smaller and TV doesn't back the promoter as much financially.

In a sport mad nation, with the likes of league and your strange aussie rules boxing holds up pretty well. Come have a look in N.Z! It really does need a kick start. Geale,Caparello and Pitt. Three guys I'd pay to see straight away.

Don't disagree with that. My point is he is getting paid better overseas at the moment.

Eleven days to Browne's next fight and they have not named an opponent yet.

I am old enough to remember the great St George rugby league team that won every Sydney premiership from 1956 to 1966. The other teams knew what they were going to do, but rarely worked out a way to stop them from doing it.

A world record that will never be broken at club level, or Australia's 38 years without ever losing a series, world cup or tri nations...that'll never be broken either....or Queenslands 7 series in a row

Can only hope that he doesn't get worked out too early and ends up in a bad way.

It will surely just be a journeyman, someone like Hastings Rasani or Remigjus Zaiauys (sp?).

They must have major doubts about Browne if that is the sort of opponent they are digging up for him...

Like I said, original opponent broke his foot apparently.

I doubt the original opponent would have been as bad as this fella.

It is on the undercard of an "interim" WBA title fight between Scott Quigg and Rendell Munroe where Browne's sparring partner Richard Towers is fighting Gregory Tony for the vacant EBU Heavyweight title in one of the main support bouts. Just a keep busy prelim fight on a long card. With eleven fights on the card if there are no KOs Browne's fight may not go ahead.

When you posted that did you not think "Hang on, Towers is basically a novice, so very unlikely to be fighting for the full EBU title"?
It's for the EBU-EU title, Brute. Another fake title for those not good enough or not yet ready for the EBU title.
So, you reckon it will be a better opponent next time out for Browne? Well, it couldn't be a worse one, could it?

Ask your hero Hatton about it. He promoted this card. The WBA interim title is rubbish too.
For Browne it is just a fight to get him a few quid and some practice. No, the next opponent could not be worse unless he is thrown in with Butlin again.

Just for comparison look at who the likes of Tua was fighting in his 13th fight! Not much worse if at all than this guy Browne is fighting. And Browne wasnt a former Olympic Bronze medalist!
Just saying

That's a fair shout mate. Big Daddy certainly wasn't a former Olympic Bronze medalist, in fact he never had an amateur fight!

Some bloke from the South of England. Not sure off the top of my head. Regardless, it was just another building fight, a 6 rounder on a stacked card.
