Is Kali Meehan retired. Aside from the Williams blow out, he holds some viability, if you're looking at the big picture.

If Tyson Fury beats Matt Skelton what would it prove? OK, Skelton had a good win against Dallas recently but he's about 45 and not really going anywhere.
If he wants to be taken seriously surely he has to look at someone with a bit more to offer than Matt Skelton?

Those suggesting Larry O must be mad, and I can only assume that they are mentioning his name because he used to post here.

Larry is at best an Area level fighter, and I don't see how coming off 2 consecutive defeats gives him the right to challenge Fury.

Larry is so slow that he looks as though he punches through treacle - Fury would stop him in the first round in my opinion.

Would like to see him in a fight with someone like Travis Walker - would be a decent test as Walker always turns up in great shape and is very powerful.

It all depends on how good you think Fury is. Is he just a bum that got lucky vs. Chisora, Rogan, ... then Larry O and Toney would be good choices.

Is he ready for primetime, of fighting for the big alphabet titles in the post-Klytchko-era? Then you could go the low-risk-route with decent journeymen like Barrett, Rahman, McCall, ... to get US reputation. Or you could take fights with guys in the same situation like Gerber or Seth Mitchell or Stiverne. Or some older dangerous opponents like Juan Carlos Gomez.

I he's good enough right now to beat everyone this side of Wlad and Vitali then go for Dimitrenko, Helenius, Adamek, ...

I think he's promising enough for one of these guys:
Chambers, Thompson, Gomez, Stiverne, Arreola.

In fairness to Hennesey, Fury has took on very strong opponents for a fighter of his age and number of fights.

I'd rather he fought Sprott than Skelton if he is going to fight a domestic opponent.
