Nope! But his current manager Ken Reinsfield did so

Where do I start on tonight's show? From the beginning I guess, I don't like corprate boxing but tonight's 5 :witzend: were all competative and N2shape did the business in the last, I sat (stood, not a seat left in the house) with his opponents dad and he admitted that Craig boxed his head off, he tried to spoil it for you though mate, plenty of in fighting  first pro fight Hemi Takurua who is built like an absolute fighting machine against Tongan Silo Tangipa. The tongan won the first two very competative rounds with some slick boxing but shipped a few heavy one's from Shane Cameron progete's but wow he got caught big time in the 3rd. 3rd round stoppage for Takurua. 2nd fight Joey Wilson against Junior Iakopo, very entertaining, as all Iakopo fights are I gave him a round and a share in another but all 3 judges gave it 40-36 to Wilson, I guess Iakopo must be getting used to this by now.
Peach-Anderson, cracking fight. Craig I don't know why you think he's always in scrappy boring fights. I think he's good to watch, hated the outcome though more inept refereeing. He was cut in the 2nd blatant accidental heads but for some reason the ref decided to stop it 4 rounds later for Peach's cut (after Peach continually asking) to which Peach threw his arms up in the air already knowing the result hmmm. Main event Pownceby-Mckinnon great fight, Pownceby boxed nicely but was cut in the 2nd, I thought from a punch like everybody around me. It was a very bad cut and looked worse as the rounds went on. It was such a great fight I don't know when the ref stopped it maybe 8 or 9 and again went to the judges scorecards, incredibly one gave it to Mckinnon by two rounds. I'm not sure if he won a round but think he should have won coz Pownceby couldn't continue. TD decision win for Sol then :witzend: Berridge would hammer him on tonights display though. I met Robbie tonight, one word Arrogant. Anyway to sum it up even with the poor officiating it was the most entertaining boxing promotion I've been to in N.Z.

What? The Butcher was not nice to his biggest fan? Perhaps he did not appreciate your boxing tips.

What are you saying man, first you're wrapping the fight, then you're talking to Craig, then your back to the card, i haven't a clue what this bloke is on about.

Best New Zealand card ever really!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Butcher is a solid bloke, had a lot of time for me!

Posted at 2 in morning after lot's of beers. The results still aren't up. That really doesn't surprise me about you and Berridge being buddies, after all you do come across as more than a little conceited and arrogant. You've reminded me I must go and pick my Roy of the rovers up :TU: I said most entertaining. :TU:

It was definitely a head clash in the second round I remember cringing when I saw it. It was a tough fight although I agree with the win as I had Pownceby winning every round.

Great fight - Pownceby won every round. Unlucky clash of heads robbed us of a great finish. Mckinnon was fading and looked vunerable to Pownceby's bodyshots. The Champion was rarely troubled. Well deserved win.

Thanks Yid it was an ok fight couldnt really get going though, wins a win and was a bit of fun mate.

Peach in my opinion cant punch his way out of a wet paper bag, hes a scrappy fighter with not the most eye pleasing style. Basically his fight with Anderson was only going to end in 2 ways the way in which it did (cuts) or by points. He had Andersen hurt a bit in the 4th of 5th was it but couldnt put him away. I prefer to watch boxer Vs Puncher of 2 punchers go at it or even two classy boxers agaist one another. Peach fits neither of these. His lack of a punch will find him out soon enough.

I was backing MacKinnon in the main event, but credit to Soul he kept comming and throwing good numbers. MacKinnon looked the more skilled but just wasnt doing enough the old saying you have to BEAT the champ and beat him well to win the title

I think it only appropriate to comment on a forum with my name on it.

Ths is my last fight for 2012. Neck surgery Thursday.

I have surgery on my neck on Thursday June7th. The operation is disc replacement of my c6 disc. I have been fighting with a c6 disc buldge for over 2years now. This has caused me considerable loss of strength in my right arm and I find my body in particular neck and traps fatigues very quickly as a result.
Daniel Mackinnon is a good opponent and I knew I had to get into top shape to win so I did. I knew that fighting before surgery would also aid my recovery as going into surgery fit helps immensley and it would also secure my WBO title for the rest of the year. This was our logic in taking a fight with such a serious injury. Talking to the surgeon there was never any risk of permenant damage with that in mind I would rather lose a title than give it away. So when Daniels manager Kenny Reinsfeild offerd us the fight we where happy to take it.
It is a real shame I got a bad cut above my lefteye in rd2 from a headclash, this robbed me of clear vision in my left eye. I must note that cutman Chris Martin done a great job. Great work Chris. With the risk of the fight being stopped we knew we had to up the attack and make sure im ahead at all times. Being on the front foot as much as possible helped my vision and scoring big right hands to Daniels body ensured Daniel was being worn down and fatigued. I feel he would of definitly been stopped in the championship rounds. Evidence was in the amount of holding from Daniel and him continually having to pick himself off the canvas. Dans style of coming in exceptionally low and driving up with his head meant there where many head clashes and im amazed that there were not more cuts on both of us.
Im told the fight will be on skysport in NZ tonight.
Thanks to my coach Lolo Hemuili (the guys a legend and I see why), Manager Mark Keddell and fitness trainer Tony Marsh. Onwards and upwards guys thanks for your help and belief in me :TU:
