Last time I saw Harrison in a ring, he was the biggest laughing stock of all-time & not for the first time either.
What has happened in the last 18 months to change that?
Harrison is one of the most well known boxers in Britain, he is an Olympic gold medal winner, a former European champion and world title challenger. He is a big deal when it comes to British boxing.
Not anymore he isn't.
Frank Bruno is also one of the best known boxers in the UK & is former world heavyweight champion to boot & nobody wants to see him come back & fight anybody.

he might have been a long time ago , but to call him a has been would be innacurate , cos in the pro game he never reached the heights.
i would rather boxing fans got behind young up and coming talents and supported them , put money in their pockets , than throwing good money after bad on harrison. hes a hundred years old, made plenty of money, and was a constant let down fighting a pretty uninspiring mixture of journeymen or has beens. hes had more second chances than ive had hot dinners, and still people come on here shouting for his return! they must be friends and family
You'd rather fans got behind new fighters, but they would rather watch Harrison because he is a big deal.

Problem is mate you are thinking as a boxing fan rather that the general public who have not long gone been watching him on strictly come dancing. I would gues that Harrison is still more of a household name that David Haye.
I can confirm the fight is NOT on allegedly. Neither is it being live streamed.
We were in discussions with several tv outfits but it would have cost ME MONEY to put it on tv which is ludicrous.
I know this fight is not everyones cup of tea (it is for many though) but this has been done for Ali Adams (not Audley) for whom I have a promotional contract.

Ermm....Nope.
It should be fairly clear that Harrison is one of the biggest names in British boxing. That's the point. It's not about his performances (or lack of). Like it or not (and most don't it would seem) he IS a big deal in British boxing.

I had costed this on the basis of no tv so it is fine.
People want everything for nothing. Boxing fans need to go out to see live shows not ask for free live streaming etc. Boxing dies if people dont attend.
