when ive been to a small hall show that doesnt have ring girls it is usually one of the most commented about subjects whilst at the show ,

when ive had good or sometimes not so good girls they are also talked about , its something other than boxing to discuss , they in general revel in the wolf whistles , most of them do it as they crave the attention

they are part of the show and to me , the amount of comments they bring , regardless of good or bad can only benefit the enjoyment of the show overall , and they arent particular expensive so they are value for money to the events .

fair do's mate, everyones different prefernces i suppose. I never really look at the ring between rounds anyway i usually talk through it with whoever im with or fast forward it if im watching it recorded

One good thing about allegedly is that you tend to see a few glimpses of a card girl between rounds, where as Sky seems at pains to show anything but butt.

Not a massive fan, just feels a bit old fashioned and is another reason my girlfriend would hate going to a fight. Seems to be the non fight fans who get most excited by them - you know the largered up boys who sit behind you and ask if they're really hitting each other. I'm not sure if it's the same drunk lads at every fight or if they just have a fixed set of stupid questions they ask!

Ring card girls are great. Whoever started the trend did a great job IMO.

I've seen some seriously ropey ring card girls in my time. The worst was at a show in 2010 (not naming promoter). She had a crop top on and g-string, which would have been fine if it wasn't for the fact that she was about size 18 and had a big gut hanging over her knickers.

Lets be honest, most ringcard girls are skanks loaned out by the local low class stripping joint. If I was running a show I'd have girls with a bit of class, wearing proper dresses rather than pissed up/drugged up wannabe hookers that most promoters seem to use.

To me the girls second from the left and the sixth from the left are both overweight, and the girl third from left isn't far off (look at those thighs). And, by the way, just because you dont have the same opinion, it doesn't make my view untrue.

None of them are remotely over weight

and people wonder why we end up with anorexics

I think we'll have to agree to disagree on this one! Having slightly bigger thighs than the very thin ladies stood around you doesn't mean you are a "fatty". The ones you mention, to me, are probably the most attractive ones there!
