Murray's draw against Sturm was 6 months ago and Murray doesn't really have any good wins on his record, he just has quite a few decent wins.

What's Murray's best win? His win against Blackwell or Khomitski? Murray probably has the least impressive biggest win out of anyone on the list.

If Murray beats Achour this month then he will move up a spot or two, but it is just another decent win.

Frankie Gavin must nearly be on that list, I predict his top 20 by the end of the year, good list though

Gavin's best win is against Curtis Woodhouse.

On ability alone he'd be in there comfortably, but he's hardly fought anyone I'm afraid.

Purdy, vassel, or witter as his next fight should push him up abit, boxrec have Gavin as 35th in the world at welter weight, if he can break into there top 30 surely he has to be knocking on the door of the British p4p top 30 ?

I agree, but his going to fly up your top 30 given the right fights ! If Frankie stays focused his untouchable.
One little thing horse, how long do you give a fighter who's inactive ? I know they have been injured but groves hasn't fought for ages but still remains up there !

A win against any of the fighters you mentioned could earn him a place on the list. A win against Witter would be the best win out of those mentioned.

Groves last fought on November 5th, so that is 7 months ago today. He is scheduled to fight Anderson this month, but that fight might not happen.

There are not many British fights scheduled that will affect Groves ranking, so if he doesn't fight he is unlikely to fall many places in the next few months.

If a fighter has been inactive for 18 months with no fights scheduled then I will probably take them out. Although most fighters will fall out of the rankings if they are inactive for that long anyway.

Looking at this list made me think, how comes Jamie McDonnell isn't due for a fight? Feels like its been quite quiet on him.

It seems he is going to be fighting Cazares in a WBC world title eliminator soon:

It’s undecided yet where the fight with Cazares will take place but McDonnell’s management and promotion team are keen for it to be staged in Doncaster.

Cazares, aged 34, is a former two-weight world champion and veteran of 15 world title fights. He’s fought for and won titles outside his own country, most notably in Japan before.

I think Brian Rose needs to be included somewhere on the list. Defending the British title twice, surely deserves a spot in the rankings.

Rose's defences were against Maxwell and Carslaw, who were both relatively weak opponents at British title level. Rose's defence against Carslaw was this month, so I will consider whether he should be entered into next month's list.

If Rose beats Webb later this year then he is very likely to enter the top 30 if he isn't already in it.
