got great hopes for Mr Haye he could be something very special in time. Its finding peoipole to stay in the ring with him and give him some needed rounds under his belt just seems to blow everyone away. Seems a like a damn nice fella too,

Agree that he should make better use of his jab and really make it a stiff, hard shot to deter guys just bundling in.
There was no head movement whatsoever, he's far too upright and will take all the power of the shots coming his way. Just needs to dip a bit and make himself a smaller target but I like the way he puts punches together. He's still very much a learner and that was better than all of his fights together. Just getting nearly 8 rounds in the bag won't have hurt him at all.
If I was an opponent I'd target his body too. For such a puncher, he's not the strongest looking lad.
I agree completely. This was the first time I'd seen him in the flesh and while I was impressed by his hand speed and body punching, his lack of head movement and leaky defence were worrying, particularly as Delaney looked as though he was punching through water at times he was so slow.
He also didn't look like he knew what to do once Delaney got on the inside - now and then he loaded up on powerful looking uppercuts, but tended to miss by miles with them.
He knows he has the power there to trouble most cruisers, so he should really be focusing on his defence, footwork, in-fighting and stamina.
Lovely whipping left hooks to the body though!
