Bradley was straight up running for the last 3rd of the fight. This is a come forward pressure fighter who rarely takes a backwards step.

He was rocked alot in the mid rounds, watching that back will hurt bradleys pride because he knows in the late rounds he had given up on going forward and trading.

The sad thing is too many fans these days think what bradley done late constitutes winning a round. I gave him the tenth because he did land effective counters and pac took the round off, but in 11 and 12 he simply ran and kept popping out a half assed jab to try and keep pac off him. He doesnt win the round on clean punching, generalship or agression.

Hbo and dan rafeal scored it spot on, bradley shaded the tenth. 119-109 pacquiao.
Punch stats also support such a wide score with pac landing 100 more. Bradley also looked like he would be stopped in the mid rounds.

Bizzare decision, because no one outside the Bradley camp, including the judges who fucked it up, wanted Pac Man to lose. Bradley looked shell shocked during the fight, hung in there and was just glad to see the fight out. Looked a beaten man, with a deflated corner too.

But Manny blew it, he could have taken over after rounds 3 and 4, but coasted, allowing Bradley to steal rounds from the hapless judges, where he did not very much at all.
Pac Man is just so used to getting close decisions, he thought he could phone it in and get another points win.

You guys will know better than me, as I didn't bother with the fight. But the rbr thread on the current scene was full of comments about Pacman looking like an aged fighter.

If he sticks around who would he fight? The Mayweather match is 2-3 years too late to be called a super fight IMO, while Martinez is too big. I don't see what other opponents out there could motivate Pacquiao to look truly impressive again. I can only think of Alvarez but surely the Mexican's real tests will end up being at middleweight.

he did seem a bit flat footed the movement and angles certainly werent the same as a couple of years ago.

Of course they did and if you bother to actually read my initial post, i say that the Pacquaio - Marquez III fight was another bad day for boxing as Marquez was robbed of the decision. What is your point ?? I not a Pac fan, not by any stretch of the imagination and wanted both Marquez and Bradley to win !! We aren't on about the Pacqauio - Marquez fight and i actually agree with what you saying anyway on that issue

I agree, Pacquaio is a fighter on the wain, but that is a seperate issue to him being robbed of a decision win over Bradley. I think he is just in it for the money now and whilst ever his name commands 10+ million dollar paydays, he will keep fighting. The fights that will be out there for him are Mayweather, Khan, Bradley re-match and a possible Marquez IIII.
