I would watch the fight again and actually see where Bradley's punches landed.......

I think you will find that from the 3rd round to the 8th round, he hardley laid a glove on Pacquaio and literally all his punches were blocked by pacquaio's gloves. It looked at times as if Bradley was doing pad work and had absolutely no idea how to open up Pacquaio. If people can or want to condone and see this fight as Bradley winning or even Pacquaio only winning the fight by two rounds, then your welcome to the sport, because it's not not worth a light.

I thought Bradley took the first and then it was all Pac Man until the championship rounds.
If you scored the first to Bradley and the last 4 also to Bradley then you got a pretty close fight. Some people marked Bradley as winning the 2nd too so that would make it 6 rounds each.
Fight reminded me a bit of de la hoya - trinidad.
Yes my friend, you need to watch the fight again.......

At the most, you could possibly give Bradley four rounds and only the 9th round of those four rounds was a clear Bradley round. Most people are shocked by this result and i don't mean that they thought it was a shut out as Lettermen did, just that Pacquaio comfortably won the fight. I respect Manny Steward an awful lot and he was literaly lost for words at the decision. Pacquaio clearly won rounds three to eight and the others were closer, but Bradley only clearly won one round.

I am clearly in the minority in thinking the fight was close so I accept i probably judged this one wrong.

There definitely needs to be a change in how fights are scored.
You get the same amount of points if you just nick a round or if you completely dominate without scoring a knockdown.

I am thinking that even the judging on the game fight night champion on the ps3 would give a better standard lol, the only difference being that the computer doesn't have a stake in any re-match, which is what the result was all about.

How on earth you get a a split decison win for Bradley, i do not know. There is a case for saying that Bradley won the 11th and 12th rounds and possibly, just possibly drew the 10th and definately won the 9th, but that's it. It took him seven rounds to realise and deal with Pacquaio's power and only in the last three rounds did he start to use tactics that should have been used from the opening bell. Most of Bradley's shots were landing on Pacquaio's gloves and when Bradley did have some success, he was equalled by Pacquaio, but most of all Bradley was out gunned for 75% of the fight. I have watched fights and seen bad decisions so often now, that it has totally spoiled my interest in the sport. The last bad one was Marquez being denied a victory over Pacquaio, so maybe they tried to equal that up with this fight. Even if you did have the fight closer than say Harold Letterman and had it by say two or three rounds, then i'm pretty sure most people would have given the fight to Pacquaio. When i heard that first 115-113, i thought " Oh dear......." and then when Bradley got a 115-113 i was shaking my head, because i just knew that the decision was going to go to Bradley. Having witnessed this type of thing so many times in recent years and with my interest in the sport waining anyway, this fight was the last straw for me. The sport is bent, pure and simple, whether you want to blame incompeteant judges or not, the sport stinks to high heaven. I didn't even want Pacquaio to win, but i am a fair judge when it comes to scoring fights and this was another travesty. That's it for me, i'm done, just totally fed up of watching arseholes fuk up a sport i once loved........Goodnight !!

Ps For what it's worth Mayweather will beat both Bradley and Pacquaio with ease.

Roger and OUT
In your rush to leave the sport behind, you appear to have locked yourself in a boxing forum and someone is continuing to post about boxing under your name :D :TU:

What am I saying, he can't hear me -- he's too busy watching lawn green bowling.
King, i didnt say i was leaving the forum, i just said that i was going to stop watching boxing lol......

Seriously, i will still watch the odd fight, Mayweather, Froch, Khan, Fury, Brook, Galahad, but that's about it. I certainly won't be watching any Pacquaio fights again unless he fights Floyd, which i don't think he will and to be perfectly honest, i don't think that fight has any appeal anymore !! Floyd will win at a canter. In general, i will be switching off from boxing and my input into this site has dropped enourmously over the last few months, i don't post very often and rarely read any of the posts, i just come on occasionally and see if there id anything to sniff at. I am getting back my love of football again and i don't even think very much about boxing anymore, though i can still see what's in front of me and have enough knowledge to comment on fights like last night. I enjoy watching Mayweather, Froch, Khan, Fury, Haye, Kell and Galahad i will keep my eye on, but as for the domestic scene, i just can't be arsed and i don't even bother with your Macklin's and Cleverleys. My heart isn't in it, but it's worth still coming on to read posts my yourself and a few others, because for one thing, i think your a funny guy lol.

Now, let me get back to my crown green bowling !!

I said it here before (somewhere) Pacman has lost his killer instinct. I wasn't around to watch the fight, but from what everyone is saying, Pacman had his man hurt, but didn't capitalise. The Pacman of old would have nailed Bradley to the canvas - these days Manny doesn't seem to want to really put the hurt on his opponents as he used to.

Wouldn't have happened under the LBF!

In all the BS, I have to say that both Bradley and Manny were pure class in the interviews. Bradley didn't claim a comfortable win, Manny didn't scream robbery - can think of 90% of fighters who would not have covered themselves in glory under the same circumstances.

i think the commentary and use of compubox on these programmes is shite. i watched the mayweather cotto fight and if you listened to the commentary (steward included) they were so far up mayweathers arse you would think that the fight was one way traffic. at the end of a fairly close fight mayweathers face was quite bashed up (for him) , but if you followed the tv team then it was all floyd, floyds this floyds that floyds the greatest of all time etc. the reality was he won a fairly close fight.
the same applies to last night. manny this , manny that . in fact he landed some big lefts , and he fought the last minute of each round. if it was such a dominant performance why is bradley not all bashed up? he hardly had a mark on his face...and this after 12 supposed one sided rounds of a beating at the hands of manny huge poower punching pac.
all you people who think its such a farce should go and watch the fight again with the sound turned off and im sure you will see the fight differently. im not saying bradley won, but these tv teams really talk so much shite and twist the events of the fight to suit their own lazy perceptions, as well as keeping the party line. plus what is compubox? is it a higher intelligence that informs us of the reality of a fight? is it omniscient? or is it just a useless gimmick for thick viewers and tv presenters to follow like sheep?
to all you who said you wont watch boxing again......you will, you know you will, but next time turn the shitey commentary off .

I loved how Wayne at times had a different opinion, giving Tim rounds where Benny wasn't and it was stumping him.
Not a big fan of Wayne but in the presence of Ricardo and Khan he seemed to talk the most sense,Ricardo just let pre fight bias get in the way of calling the fight properly.

8-4 To Pacquaio for me. I thought the commentry on primetime was appaling, but I do remember 1 round them all scoring it different which shows how subjective boxing scoring is.

Although pac won the middle rounds on my card he was leaving it till the last minute to take the round for me so this maybe cost him.

Spot on,the commentary was disgracfuly onesided and biased from the start on primetime and i expect HBO was even worse and all the casuals just go with what they hear and not what they see.

Well, if you want to omit Steward, Lampley, Letterman etc, then that's fine by me and i'm not stupid enough to go along with everything those guys say or Letterman's card. I have posted a video of the post fight interviews and the crowd is booing when Bradley speaks. Not his fault of course, but they weren't listening to Lampley, Steward and Lettreman were they ? Bradley even he says he will have to watch the fight when he gets home to see who won it !! I don't go along with the 119-109 score cards, but i think you could give Bradley four rounds at the most and not all of those were convincing. Pacquaio was dominant in how his punches were landing, Bradley for the most part was just flicking out his jab onto Pacquaio's gloves and even his combinations were being kept out by Pacquaio's high guard. Bradley just didn't know how to unlock Pacquaio, but he did look better over those last three rounds, because he altered his tactics, didn't stand toe to toe and Pacquaio took the foot os the pedal. When the decision was announced, people tried to make sense of it and they concentrated and thise last three rounds and then thought again about the first two rounds and then then convinced themselves that it was closer than they had remembered in the middles rounds, so hey.....Bradley wins !! Give me a break lol.

Mate when you score a fight by a round or 2 to a fighter and it goes the other way you don't scream robbery. When you give a guy 2 or 3 rounds, and he wins, then it is a robbery.

I had Bradley share the second, win the 10th & 11th and one other, I can't remember which one now. It wasn't even close and nobody can ever make a fair case for Bradley winning.
I was speechless at about 6.15am this morning and I'm still speechless at 15.33pm.

Shocking.

most rounds were competitive to make it a decent spectacle, however i struggled giving bradley more than 3 rounds and it was more like 2 rounds and maybe a 10-10. Pacman won, but hats off to bradleyi'll continue to be a fan of both of these guys! Another black eye for the sport though.

I dont understand People comparing this to pacman marquez, that was a razor thin margin - THIS WASN'T

I gave him rd 1 too. Only have to find one more to match the judges. I'm sure I've seen on here people score him for rd 9 too. And thats from people who gave him 2/3 rounds.

Not as scandalous as all this.
