Even if it is they won't refund bets, they will go with the first announcement which is a TD.
I remember I backed a horse years ago @ 16/1 and it won, after a stewards inquiry it was demoted to 4th. The trainer & owners appealed and a few weeks later the stewards decision was overturned and the horse was awarded the race. Did I get paid out? Did I shite!

They cant just invent the rules if you backed the draw you should be paid, it the bbboc rules if a fight ends inside 4 rounds through accidental means etc, they should have factored it
into there prices, have a word with them

Those are Skybets rules I think - TD is same as a no contest.
Wish I'd bet with them although my bet hasnt been settled yet.

I imagine someone has had a couple of grand on one guy or the other and for that to be a losing bet is very wrong

Receipt is acknowledged of your e-mail of today’s date with regard to the above. The new Technical Decision Rule is as follows:-
Accidental Fouls
1. If an accidental foul causes an injury severe enough for the referee to stop the bout immediately, the bout will result in a TECHNICAL DRAW if stopped before four (4) completed rounds. Four (4) rounds are complete when the bell rings signifying the end of the fourth round.

If anyone is struggling for clarity, check the betting rules on the website. I had an issue with skyber for Hopkins v Dawson 1 and they were prepared to go on the appeal. Think its why they tightened their rules

I've looked at the rules and if this fight was held under WBA rules its a no decision. WBA don't have a technical draw rule in their rules pdf file.

It was defo for wba belt under wba rules, british wasnt on the line, Needs to be sorted as i had mates who had thousands on either fighter and they both lose, just a cop out only winner is bookies.

Just been reading Betfairs rules and the only way this will voided is if a no contest is declared within 24hrs of the official verdict.

Think most bookies if not all have in there rules the result announced on the night is what they adhere to, some have a cavaet if its changed literally straightaway i.e. a misread by the announcer.

That's like saying Man Utd V Man City play and United beat them 2-0 but on the Premier League homepage it shows 3-0 so they'll pay out on the 3-0 as its on the official website.
The WBA don't even have a 'Technical Draw' within their rules so how can it be deemed to be one.
Complete bullshit if you ask me, if the shoe was on the other foot and the bookies had a huge liability on the draw they'd rule it a no contest guaranteed.

Bet365 refunded my £50 on this fight for Munroe to win, though pPower kept my £50 on Monroe K.O as they class the result as a draw.

Actually I've just phoned them and they said they are investigating this and it is likely that the bets will be refunded so let's wait and see. The women on the line knew instantly about the fight so obviously they've been inundated with calls!

Had a single on munroe outright plus round bets with Skybet I got my stake back. Sounds like most other bookies gave you fook all unless you had the draw.

william hill have paid out on the draw and refunded all losing stakes on munroe and quigg fair play to them.

My brother has just rang to say William Hill have just refunded the wedge he had on quigg. He was told he had no chance on the phone this morning but now there saying the fact other bookies are returning means they have to follow suit. Just hoping the Ladbrokes shop return my stake now.

I'd be surprised if all bookies didn't refund eventually as the custom they will lose won't make not doing so worth their while.
