I dont think thats the plan.JDC wrote:Sky putting all their eggs on a gimmick: Prizefighter. Idiots.
I agree, Sky are in the business of putting Matchroom's fighters in with nobodiesexittored wrote:Maloney just didnt have the stable to put on quality shows and it didn't help when he was saying David Price wouldn't be ready for a world title for another 2 years...i don't think SKY wanted to be in the business of making a bunch of fights between Price vs nobodies plus David has hardly sold himself to the british public unlike Tyson Fury.
Thats it. Who wants to see Price vs mugs for the next 2 years?exittored wrote:Maloney just didnt have the stable to put on quality shows and it didn't help when he was saying David Price wouldn't be ready for a world title for another 2 years...i don't think SKY wanted to be in the business of making a bunch of fights between Price vs nobodies plus David has hardly sold himself to the british public unlike Tyson Fury.
what he saidP4P#1 wrote: For fuks sake? He needs to grow some balls are you people serious, Your the type of clowns who put me off coming on here. He's Had 13 Fights!!! Not exactly the best experience to go jumping in the ring with a klitschko. It makes perfect sense to wait, build up more of a fan base and get some more exposure and experience. David price is the best thing to happen to British heavyweight boxing in a long long time! Tyson Fury as entertaining as his fights are is the biggest Hype job going, He will soon be on his flat on his back, lights out against a shit opponent.
Why rush him? If they take there time they can turn him into a superstar. Vitali will be retired soon and wlad will be beatable by the time price is ready. It's all about timing and keeping price fighting regular against able opposition is the way to do it IMOallahsnackbar wrote:Thats it. Sky were really disappointed in price when he said he needed 2 more years. They flew him out to Klitschko vs Mormeck and were giving him the big build up.
Price needs to find some balls and challenge the Klitschkos.
The point is, he should have had more than 13 fights. The pedestrian speed at which his career has developed is rightly a cause of frustration for fans. I'm not surprised Sky didn't like the sound of another 2 years' building.P4P#1 wrote:For fuks sake?
