FW site still has Hall, Walsh, Gavin and Povetkin v Rahman down.
However Gavin has said he is not fighting and I have not seen any reports of Povetkin or Rahman arriving in the country.
I suppose Walsh hasn't fought for so long he needs the money and Hall has lost 4 out of his last 6 and hasn't really got any choice.

Not unless they are having a rap battle during one of the musical intervals.

Major fight unexpectedy called off in FW show shocker!!!

Saying that if the rest off the bill is correct there are 8 fighters with a license to lose, I hope they are getting paid well.
Actually I bet they are just hoping they get paid!

I hope there arent any early KO's or you guys that are going are going to have a long night. I've been against this show from the start, so I am a bit biased, but I really think that for the money the punters have paid for their tickets, there should be a better show put on than this.
Couldnt they have got any non BBBOC fighters to match up on the undercard? Guys from the USA, mainland Europe etc?

Maybe the European fighters were worried about losing their licenses by fighting on an unsanctioned show

You could be right. Or maybe FW wasnt really thinking about the fans, once he had their ticket cash and felt that their hard earned was only worth what he is putting on. But it isnt FW of course, its Bruce Baker, or the LBF because FW is just Chisora's manager after all.

My faith has been restored. TBA vs TBA is on the undercard! What are we complaining about - those are two of the most famous boxers in the world going head to head. I can't pick a winner.

My money would be on TBA. TBA isnt a bad fighter, but I think TBA is just stylistically all wrong for him.

Surely there must be an official person actually running the promotion?

Is FW really claiming he has nothing to do with the promotion?

All he is saying is that he is DC manager.

From the outset, FW has stated that as a dutiful manager he has a responsibility to provide his client (Chisora) with opportunites to work and earn money.
Bruce Baker was the brawn behind the LBF.
allegedly are listed as the promoters of this show on the FW website. There is a caveat paragraph that tells customers that tickets sold for the show, through the FW website are done so on behalf of the shows promoter, allegedly. This caveat does not appear on the Burns v Mitchell promotion, which is a straight FW promotion.
The BBBOC have stated that action may be taken against any license holder involved with this show. Maybe FW is prepared to risk action and risk a potential suspension/admonishment in relation to his status as a licensed manager?
As allegedly do not currently hold a BBBOC promoters license (as far as i'm aware) action taken against them would be a problem and maybe as a one off promoter, they are not bothered.
I'm not sure, but I think I know whats happening.

I'd fight johnny greaves for that title. it's maybe a step up but i reckon i could last a few rounds

The undercard is listed above on this page, if you scroll up. It's pretty poor. Although having said that, it trumps most Klitschko undercards!

How can they be the official promoter when they aren't, erm, a promoter?

Maybe they found a Christmas cracker, pulled it and a LBF promoters licence fell out?

Reminds me of the Setanta situation when someone threw their toys out of the pram, ironically in relation to David Haye joining the channel, and said "well Setanta hold a contract with Sports Network, Sports Network do not hold a promoters licence".

I really really hope that there the BBBoC can enforce some ramifications to this - I only wish integrity was considered more in the black and white legal proceeding.

I've had enough of self-serving promoters damaging the sport in the UK. From refusing to work for certain TV companies, to marginalizing the sport further by creating their own channel, to not paying their fighters. Infuriating.
