He looked bad against the two best P4P fighters in the world, he should still have something to offer at a decent level.

Come back , fight a couple of easy beats ,, Take on Khan for what would possibly be one of the biggest money fights , in British History ,,, Promote it himself , , its all a WIN win win ,, unless he loses then its only win win

Off course thats if Khan would take the fight , i think if he thought Hatton was up to it ,, he'd roll out the excuse ,, i respected him when i was growing up so i don't want to hurt him

He looks like he's lost a lot of timber recently and it really wouldn't suprise me. What a way to get back at sky sports that would be.

He's being on the partying in Tenerife for the last three weeks apparently. I doubt it very much.

I thought Jamie retired, because he was advised to after a brain scan came back with some anomilies, so it's worrying if he is returning to the sport.

Jamie has spoken about this aparently minor changes in Brain scan images are quite common, and not necessarily amongst boxers. Jamie wrote that he may have jumped the gun based on a Brain scan alone.

He seemed like he had a very sensible attitude to it all.....

Im bored with Hatton to be honest, i used to follow and admire him until the hugfest with urango, when we scrutinize Hattons record...yes there were some great wins, Tszyu being the obvious one.... Hattons fotwork up close to help his body attacks was awesome....but...he was lucky in my opinion not to have had a few more losses.

Against Thaxton it should have been stopped as Hatton was cut to shreds! (see youtube video)

Against Urango Hatton should have been thrown out for constant infringements! (see youtube video)

Against Magee the ref was interfeering and stopping Magees attacks just after hatton had been dropped! (see youtube video)

Against Luis Collazo i had Hatton losing on points! (see youtube video)

Just my take on things.......all in all Richard is a bit Lucky, he should cherish his record, he developed a legacy in manchester, lets not spoil it now by being KO'd by a fringe contender. Hattons 'aura' went down the khazi when Billy Graham split with him!

Mallignaggi-Brook-Khan. It'll never happen but it would be magnificent if it did.

I dont think he needs to have a long time comeback just a farewell fight against paulie for the world title again would be nice end with a title and a win. Unless he then gets the eye of the tiger again then go for JMM.

If Hatton were to come back I'd rather he fought Oscar De La Hoya

Hatton looked poor against Lazcano after the Mayweather loss, imagine how poor he'd look after the abuse he'll have put his body through in the 3 years since the Pacquiao loss, never mind any ring rust. He should leave well alone in my opinion, especially given the problems he had accepting it was over. At least he can say he only lost to the elite, how would he handle going out on another loss to a lesser fighter? Not worth it.

Im sure like Jamie Moore, he would put himself through the proper tests and camps to see what he still has left. Id be more concerned if he was a mediocre fighter coming back for a payday but I'm sure he will still have a quid or two in the bank. If he is coming back then i'd like to think it was for the right reasons. Hopefully it's not just to give his promotional company a boost.

Imagine he made a comeback and had Jamie Moore on the undercard..... How gutted would sky be to miss out on that action. lol

I got the wrong end of the stick, sorry. I'd not like to see him try again; he was an excellent fighter and there have been many top fighters caught out coming back, (Colin Dunne came to mind straight away).

If Hatton's coming back surely it has to be against Junior Witter

I think the question was half answered on Ringside earlier. Ricky is in training and if he feels like he can do it, he'll be back. I think it is all ready half the way there because Ricky would've come out and said 'not a chance' by now if there was no chance. If I were a betting man, I'd say it's 70-30% that Ricky will make a comeback. Block the hotdog stall, shut down the chippies, here he comes! There's only one, Ricky Hatton!!!

THIS. The only 2 losses on his slate are Pacman and Mayweather. Two pound for pound greats. Leave it at that, not worth the risk of getting a 3rd loss on the slate to someone of a lesser calibre. He should just put it to bed, time moves on, his best time was 2004-2007, which frighteningly (for me anyways!) was 5+ years ago!
