Reading the Elliott Worsell book it said that he's not really into football but admires Eric Cantona. I think it's fashionable to be a 'big football fan' these days and lets face it, I'm sure that David only goes on Soccer AM to get his face out there, you know what he's like for courting publicity.
But you're right, there'll be some West Ham fans that will use any excuse to have a ruck...and let's face it I'm sure the Millwall boys will oblige.
