No one knows how a person could turn out if he was not sucessful, some have more will power then others, I remember a picture Devon Alexander had in his old boxing gym all of them on the picture were either dead or in prison, all but Alexander, even his brother who was in the picture was in prison. Some people make the right choices, some don't. The fact that Amir went the boxing route shows his character.

Worst atmosphere I've ever experienced was courtesy of 'khans Army' who were the biggest bunch of pricks I've ever seen in my life.

A young Asian family were cowering in the corner of a lobby , as his fans chanted some Religious stuff in tandem, jumping up and down together , slinging pints of beer around which I found ironic. I lead them to another part of arena and they stood with us. Obviously their teenage son and daughter had the Khan posters etc - little did they realize the reality was gonna be actually buying tickets and going along.

Good fighter (not great by any means), overrated and great to watch. He has so much more potential than he is showing IMO. He seems to lose his way as fights go on, especially when the other guy fights back!

Looking forward to Saturday though, it's never boring watching him.

WE are all human, we all make mistakes at times, it's just that if you are a celeb or a MP you are lambasted for it. I don't like everything Khan does, but I respect him as a fighter and you don't see him having brawls at press conferences, he does come over sometimes as overconfident, something many top fighters radiate, there is a thin dividing line between confidence and arrogance, what side of the line you stand depends on public opinion.

haye and chisora are getting all the publicity, and last week it was kell brook and carson. khan , although he is a top fighter manages to alienate potential fans everytime he opens his mouth. when he won the olympic medal he had more fans than he does now despite all the promotion and backing he has had. typical khan shite is that this week he proclaimed that toothpaste has rat poison in it and will kill you, even if us mortals have been using it for 50 years and improving our dental health as a result. as for thos idiots who suggest khan is disliked cos hes a pakistani, they are just as thick as khan. im sure there are people out there who hate pakistanis, but they are a minority...especially in the boxing world where boxers of evry ethnicity and race are admired and followed by fans in every country. khan is disliked by more and more boxing fans cos hes spoilt, ungracious, disrespectful to almost all other fighters, and credits himself with a status that he hasnt fulfilled.

Class act… He is to busy sticking his foot in his mouth, if he was chocolate and all that!

Khan is one dimensional although fortunately for him he is quicker and notably bigger than his opponents. Let’s see how he does moving up. IMO Brook would outthink and stop him after eight rounds if not earlier.
