No Contest would be far more appropriate decision.

Hopefully the results are communicated between Vic and NZ also as Zinck has fought twice since making a comeback Jason Williams (a particulary bloody fight with AMosa leaking alot) and Gogosina Ulutoa.

NZPBA & NZNBF already know about it. Vic Control will no doubt confirm come Monday.

Rumour has it, Vic Control Board was aware, but allowed the fight to proceed providing he wasn't cut. He was.....and that promptly concluded proceedings

The Vic Board should all be sacked. It's garbage like this that's been making a lot fight fans, ex fight fans

IMO Dr Peter Lewis seems to influence Control Board & at times it appears he's in total control on the night disregarding the Act & its Rules & Regulations.

Sports Minister, once he gets a smell of it, might very well give it a hell of a toothache
IMO, over the hill Board's chairman Balmer & his inept cronies need to be ditched.

A great touch at the end of the night was Suzie staying and posing for photos. I got one with her and also the great man Howard Leigh. Also saw Graeme Brooks. He looks gtreat and was very friendly.

Grant, this may be the reason for the disparity in size of Suzie's opponent:

Evens more kudos to Suzie for her mighty effort!

Grant, Sounds like you had a great night at Flemington, meeting both Howard "Mr Boxing" Leigh, and Porky Brooke.

If there's a nicer bloke in boxing, i'm yet to meet him, Porky apart from being a terrific little fighter in his day, is one of the nicest young guys, you would ever want to meet.

Yes,it would appear appropriate that a doctor is one of the ones in control during a contact sport event. And I'd hardly call the likes of former Australian lightweight champ Scotty Brouwer an inept crony. Leveling accusations like DaGoose dose, it has me stumped how he has never been done for libelous defamation nor how he can walk without a limp, it does explain, however, his lack of actual attendance to boxing fights.

Dale,

He hasn't been to a boxing event in almost 6 years, So he is just trying to impress everyone to think he knows everything about the sport.

Statements he's made, clearly show his lack of intelligence and judgement.

He so badly wants to be someone in this industry, but as we all know, he has absolutely no idea, his rantings in here and other forums just substantiate what we already know.

Very few, know the actual events, as they took place on Friday night at Flemington. And i agree, it is not a good look for the sport in Victoria.

So it's a shame that he comes in here, and other forums commenting and accusing others of incompetence and violations of the rules etc, when he knows nothing about what actually happened, he makes it sound like he was involved at ringside, and its really wrong of him to accuse some innocent people of things, based on third and fourth hand garbage talk.

My advice to anyone reading this is simple, take everything he say's with a grain of salt, because in this issue, he does not know what actually took place, he's only heard the story third or fourth hand, and he does not know any of the facts, infact very few people do, but that won't stand in the way of a good story, one that will keep his name on everyone's lips as Boxing's Mr Knowledge man.

Should never have been allowed to step in the ring without having results in front of the doctor. You cant just have the fight on in hope that he gets a clear result.

Foxy,

I agree 1000%, The fighter's should never have been allowed near the ring, but there is sooo much more to this story, that no-one knows, but Anton thinks he knows everything.

He tries to convince us all, by making unsubstantiated accusations about people he dislikes and involved in the sport, but most of the time it's the wrong person, he often gets egg on his face and then he goes missing and says nothing, till it's all quietened down

If he was any sort of man, he would apologise to the people he wrongly accused.
