Two things - the fence was a good gimmick when the fight announced but was pretty embarrassing at the weigh in when you could see if they wanted to the fighters could reach around it.

Secondly - have two different sets of scales ever been used before? I know this is a heavyweight fight so not as important regarding weight but surely they could be giving different readings?

Good point, surely they should be the same scales and calibrated etc. The BBBOC rules say that....another difference with how they do things over there (here) /luxemburg.

You didn't miss much, all you could really hear was Chisora saying he was cumming , and that after the fight they'll both have three losses. That and a moron in the crowd shouting "memdaugh" in a silly voice, which I assume meant 'Millwall' and a slag shouting "cover it up Del" after the ejaculation confession.

I went along, the crowd were mainly for Chisora, lots of idiots shouting hows the toe David, which is getting a bit tired - Frank's cronies were handing out big foam feet with aint toe stopping us now on them.
Was expecting undercard fighters first, but it was straight to DH and Del, and that seemed to be it...didn't stick around to see the rest. Del looked much bigger than Haye up close, not fat, just the size of his back was huge - a real heavyweight.
I think Haye might be in trouble on Sat night, he'll be looking to stay out of range, but not sure he can for 10 rounds. He'll need to get Del's respect early.....maybe he can, I'm not sure. DC's chin is good. Think he's a bit concerned that he's facing a mad man too. Because Chisora does look borderline NUTSO.

Me, I'm not sure who wins but I don't see Haye winning by KO based on how well Chisora coped with one of the hardest hitters in the division in Vitali. I also dont think Haye has that one punch KO power that many think he posses.

Could be I just happened to be on the side where Del's fans were - he did walk right by us - so may have got wrong impression. But I don't think DH has much of a fan base these days, and it seemed a lot of people want Chisora to administer pay back for the Wlad and Audley fiascos.

It depends which kind of judges you have

some may award extra points chis for workrate and aggression
but some may be more impressed by hayes nice footwork, technique and the quality of his work

Haye couldnt knock him out glass in hand with a free shot at him in February after he had went 12 rounds with Vitali, what makes anyone think he can do it with gloves on running away from him trying to steal rounds?

They ran a 70's style pearl and dean type add on the big screen before the weigh in, and it ended with the press conf brawl, fade to black, then you hear a deep voice say, he glassed me ! Which got a big laugh.

The cheering for Haye seemed to come from his red t shirt entourage at the front. Dave didn't seem to want to get on the stage when he arrived first, can't say I blame him as it was one hell of an ugly looking crowd.

Chisora strolled in and straight on stage first, he definitely seems the more relaxed and confident of the two.

Did Michael Buffer have queue cards that had a photo of Michael Buffer on the back? That man is class.

Haye is the more talented boxer who carries the advantages in speed and power, but he is a semi-retired, long range pot shotter who has no stomach for getting drawn into a fight. If Chisora can force him to engage more than he wants to, I can see him getting sickened and gradually falling apart. That's my prediction anyway - an electric start from Haye followed by his systematic dismantling.

Haye has always had long breaks in between fights and keeps himself in shape so this talk of being semi-retired is a bit misleading. As we all know, a fight with Vitali was always his aim rather than actually staying retired.

Chisora will barely manage to land a glove on him. He can only walk forward in straight lines which will play into Haye's hands as he'll catch him walking in, move and do it again.
