Massive Yay for me. Still young and a work in progress. I'd like to see him re-match a fit Chisora next as opposed to the fatso that he faced last year.

No qualms about him "ducking" the Price fight either, why fight him now for peanuts when potentially in a year or 2 they could make mega-bucks in an all English World title fight.

Also, the boy has an abundance of charisma in what is a dull division.

I don't know how anyone can say he ducked Price. Hennessy offered Price a good purse and Price turned it down. Fury couldn't fight on another channel or he would lose his contract with Channel 5. If it went to purse bids, that might have happened.

Or it might not have. Everyone knows he ducked him. They didn't want to risk him losing and getting set back in getting humiliated by Klit. As soon as it was going to go to purse bids he vacates his titles. How can someone vacate their titles and not be ducking someone, fair enough if he was going to fight someone that was big step up. But an old man who was basically just a formality was a joke. It was a joke of a fight.

In mine and a lot of others opinions Price would destroy Fury. Fury can stick to fighting old men seven inches shorter than him, thats "progressing" that isn't it?! Put him up against Pricey and he'll get beat. He knows it and Hennesey knows it.

Future world champ IMO is Pricey, and any doubters will change thir minds once his chins been tested.

It hasn't, but Pricey is trying to progress hence wanting to fight Fury. Fury 'wants to progress' and Maddalone was his next opponent? Hardly progressing is it.

Furys certainly had better opponents and is younger, but he knows what a challenge Price would be and I personally think Price will beat him. Everyone wants to see this fight but Fury is scared, because if he loses he can kiss goodbye to fighting Klit... At least for now.

Rogan was his next opponent after vacating his old titles. Would Sexton beat Maddalone if they fought? I am not sure.

Price and his team turned down £100,000 to fight Fury on Channel 5. I don't think either side wanted the fight at that time, as the fight is likely to be much bigger in a couple of years time, when there will be more to gain and less to lose for both fighters.

Maddalone was a marking time fight and even Lennox Lewis had them.

If Fury fights on any channel except 5, then he loses his contract with them - that sir, is a fact.

Pretty much agree, Yiddo.

The lack of power and the fact he gets tagged quite easily, is a bit of a worry. The defence, you can tighten up but the lack of power, in particular for a man of his size, is pretty limiting. He has got guts and bottle, no doubt, just not sure that that is enough combined with his skillset.

Tyson has a lot of charisma, and i dont say that about any old tom dick and harry who happens to talk a lot. I like him

I'm sure Tyson is going to have plenty of entertaining fights over the next couple of years. Will he become a World Champion? Quite possibly, post Klitschko, yes. He is enjoying plenty of TV coverage and has plenty of backing. All he has to do is keep winning, gain confidence and experience.

His opposition may be questioned but he is fighting pretty regularly and with each win on his record, he becomes more marketable. Yes, Mick talks him up but it almost adds to the spectacle. He can hardly say 'Yeah, Tyson's beat a poor overweight version of the Fonz and our next fight will be in a couple of months against another US top 50 fighter. If Wlad retires or Povetkin loses to someone like Chaegav(sarcasm), then he might just, by a gnats knacker, become a belt holder.

It's pointless to keep mentioning David Price, as they are both on different journeys right now and hopefully one day, their paths will meet.

Tyson will not be anywhere near a 50/50 fight(why should he be?) until Channel 5 demand it through lack of interest, then you could see a Harrison match up or a Sosnowski(former Klitschko opponent) fight, perhaps. It could be argued that the Chisora fight was a 50/50 fight and that, that fight was needed as a carrot almost for Channel 5 to get involved, possibly.

So, a big fat gypsy Yay for me!

i would like to see tyson in with someone like matt skelton... Madalone was a marking time fight, but seems as tho hes going backwards

I like Fury, but I am a bit perturbed at him 'ducking' Price.

I think he's definitely got the talent, but he needs to step up his game now.

He needs to be fighting the likes of Price next, or maybe Helenius.

I like Fury, I dont blame him for ducking Price - it was down to promoters/money and I can also understand why Hennessy didn't take that fight think too many on here/fans make a big deal of that.

I dont think he's nowhere near the finished article and is a way off the Klitschko's but he's a baby for a heavyweight.

I know he says some stuff to hype a fight etc but I actually really likes how he comes across and he speaks quite intelligently/calmly.

Audley Harrison . Well past his best known fighter , but still a tough test for tyson , plenty of marketabilty.

Dominick Guinn - US fighter who went the distance with both Boystov and Pulev who are like Tyson up and coming heavys , a fight where we get to see how Fury stacks up.

Even though Hamer is a short-ish HW I'd be amazed if Fury would go anywhere near him. Agree on Harrison though, that's a great shout. I reckon Audley may even Believe He Can Do It against Fury.

Why not let them avoid one another until it naturally happens and have two moving toward a common goal. I wonder if Price was as far down the pro line as Fury if he'd turn and come back to fight price.

When I look at the top ten (taking out the klitchkos) i could feasibly see these two potentially progressing right to the top.
