Not sure Matthew Hatton (no disrespect at all) is a big enough name or more to the point, Challenge. If Amir comes back home to train and fight the only fight there for him would be Kelly Brook. That would fill almost any stadium in the UK and would sell itself being a genuine even match with a bit of niggle in the mix to spice things up. I also don't think it would take a trainer of any massive notoriety to put him back on the right track.

I agree, that would be the biggest domestic dust up for years, It would be a great fight, both are fast, it would be like 2 gun slinging fast guns, having a dual in the wild west.

It would not be the biggest domestic showdown in the last week...

Your not suggesting that the fight between Chesora and Haye is bigger, just because they had a press conference fight are you, because lets be honest if they had not been a fight in the first place it would have been just a decent match up, like Fury/Chesora was. Khan and Brook will be bigger because it is a great fight.

Haye-Chisora was the mismatch it always appeared to be, covered up by WWE publicity that far too many people fell for. Did Chisora even land a punch, apart from that one after the bell?
I'm sure Warren will scrape Chisora off the floor and try an justify another fight where he is hugely out of his depth again.

I wonder if Khan brook would sell 30,000 tickets .... personally I dont think it would?! This of course doesnt mean it isnt as big a fight.

That was my point. It wouldn't get the coverage, either.

It would easy. We just gotta get Khan to glass Kelly, Kelly to set fire and shoot Amir and get Moscow State travelling circus to sanction it. Where do I buy a ticket!!!!

Unfortunately, if Amir did do all those things, then yes, it would get a lot more coverage.

Khan can't sell tickets. The only time he ever got a big crowd was when the people came out to see a boxing god in Marco Antonio Barrera. Otherwise he struggles to fill 5,000 seats.

Don't agree, when he used to fight here before, mainly Bolton and MEN Manchester, he used to get big crowds, I watched him in Bolton, the support he got was brilliant.

Think he left these shores too early though to maintain a solid, ticket-buying fanbase. Add into that 3 defeats, a couple being ko defeats and the casual fan becomes less interested. That's the way it goes for boxers.
Think promoters need to start looking at building local stars again and growing from there.

Khan banged out Newcastle for Salita and it's wrong to say McCloskey outsold Khan. The crowd for that was about 14-15,000 and about 5,000 were backing McCloskey, although they did make more noise.
The crowd was about 7,000 in Vegas and was very pro-Khan

I did not mean McCloskey outsold Khan. I was just pointing out another fight where there were far more than 5,000 there.
