Just to clarify. You will not need a subscription with Primetime or anybody to view the shows. It is free to view via a sky box (Primetime), freeview channel 112 sports tonight live or http://www.sportstonightlive.com on line.

Everyone will be able to see the preview shows, documentataries fight night live and highlights show afterwards featuring non televised bouts.

In this current day and age you do not get given tv deals as they are not around or available (you have to think outside the box).

If I sat and waited for a tv station to contact us I would have been 6 foot under before it came. Sky/Matchroom is now working on a monopoly basis even though I do thoroughly respect Matchroom for being a first class promoter.

I cannot believe Sky ditched David Price/Frank Maloney and thank god for allegedly's existence but this is once again a subscription channel.

In my opinion we need to engage boxing fans who would not pay a subscription fee to watch our sport. Hopefully this will introduce new boxing fans or rekindle disillusioned fans interest again.

When I came into the sport I was astonished at how few tickets are sold at small hall shows to people outside the boxers on the show. Boxing has lost the publics imagination (apart from the big fights) and that is a problem.

Hopefully in due course this idea will mean that we will be able to get several promoters free to view tv access. The deal is exclusive to us but if another promoter wanted to put their shows on the channel we are able to consider this.

A project like this is obviously in its infancy and we will we working really hard to make a success of it for our boxers, managers we work with, ourselves, for true boxing fans and hopefully eventually for boxing in general.

Boxing is not working as it is. Our leading boxers are not recognised the same as those in the 80's. Froch is bigger and better than Eubank yet everyone knows Eubank. This cannot be right. Hopefully maybe we can instigate something that will someday soon change things.

We are doing this with no budget so please do not expect world title fights etc at this stage.

Expect exciting entertaining bouts with thrills and spills. You will not be seeing 6/8 rounds prospect v journeyman matches.
