Bomber Vs Miranda

I fancy Bellew to win KO/TKO rounds 7-9. Miranda is made for Bellew, he'll trade with Bomber when he gets hurt or frustrated.

Why can almost no one else see this! Miranda means squat at 175! He does not have sledgehammers in his hands or any other tool we care to mention! He might have hit hard at middle but he is as raw as it gets and is now fighting over a stone north of his best weight! Do people just want this to be a top level fight or do they really believe it! IS EVERYONE MENTAL!!!!!!!!!!!

Its because Bomber is now associated with Sky/Hearn and there are shit loads of sky/hearn nut huggers on here!

Personally i'm just glad to see Bomber back in the ring and hopefully fighting regularly!

I don't mean to slight Bellew. I do feel that he is hyped to a crazy degree, especially given that he really only has one performance that suggests of anything near world class (Cleverly) and even then we don't really know how good is opponent that night is. He has looked pretty ordinary against the likes of McKenzie and Ajisaf and he is 30 now. I enjoy watching him though and he comes across as a nice kid, I'd like to see him do well.

Miranda is a big name who's past his best and has been brought over to lose. So I'd put my money on Mr Bellew.

Miranda was dangerous at s-middle .. and a good few years ago now

In the last year he has lost 2 won 2 ... and has looked very poor in each contest.

This contest does not excite me one little bit.
The age old boxing ploy of putting a well-known, well-worn, lighter, fighter facing a fresher bigger guy to pad his record .. not sure who this contest is fooling

It won`t really tell us anything we already don`t know already .. unless Miranda gets lucky with a swing and cleanly KO`s Bellew ... that said. Bellew now realises his chin needs more protection and fights accordingly ... so even less to get excited about.

Excellent post, sums the fight up in a nutshell. To me it's a lot like the Corley/McCloskey fight - Corley was not brought over to be in a 50/50 or 60/40 fight, he was brought over to lose. It's just that McCloskey got exposed even more than most thought he could that night
