A very knowledgable responce there, not. How can people say Audley is improving uhh because he is. Since he has gone to America his defence has tightened right up and his hand and footspeed and more importantly punch have all improved. His level of opposition has gone up with each fight.

I'm with Mr Wilson on this one. The improvement is there for all to see. Watch the tapes of his last couple of fights and compare them with his first performances. There is a marked difference in almost every area, especially defense (his weakest area i believe).
I'd like to see him in with the winner of Hide/Williams (if it happens. I won't believe it until they're in the ring). It'll make it easier to judge his progress.

I think he will only fight the winner of Hide Williams if Hide wins as politics effectively rule out a fight with Williams. Hide hits hard and is quick so I think he is Harrisons biggest threat on the European scene. Hide, Williams and Harrison are the 3 best heavyweights in Britain. While I was glad Sprott won the British title he would lose to all 3 of these guys (he should have lost to Williams be honest) and Skelton doesnt even deserve to lace either fighters boots after his last performane against what was effectively a moving punch bag which should have been KOd straight away.

I think Audley has definately improved. But I still think he needs more improvements. Forget the title, Hersisa isa good step up. I think, though he doesn't have a lot of time, he should fight a couple of other people in the European rankings - of about this standard, before moving up to a more serious title.

No I dont think he should stick at Hersisias level. If Hide wins the EU title then fight him if not, Bonin or Nielsen as both are highly ranked and are about the only 2 not promoted by allegedly. Attilla Levin is right up there but I think its a little to soon for him.

He is a durable opponent. Golota took 7rounds to beat him and Nix holds a win over Tim Witherspoon. Another thing do you think Hersisia is a step up from Nix.

While I agree Audley's improvement has been evident since he moved to America I felt there were slight signs of improvement in the Draskovic fight and certainly in the fight against Ellis.

Unfortuneately that was overshadowed by the Hide episode.

I'd also add improved stamina to the list you mentioned above. I know his fights in the US have been short but Audley seemed to be active for a larger percentage of the rounds than he had been previously.

Auds training in Big Bear in Canada. The training camp is 7000ft up so his fitness will improve immencesly from training here. He is sparring with Vaughn Bean and Orlin Norris so hardly moving punch bags.

I'll be suprised mate. Although in saying that I don't think there is a World heavyweight title defence that is too shit for the Klitschko's or Povetkin to make.

Audley said it himself the availability or lack there of opponents mean he would likely get a shot. Personally i think if he wins against price he would become the second most credible title challenger after Haye; who else is there? Fury if he beats chambers? thats about it. Seth mitchell hasnt fought anyone of note, stivern is looking like he would stand no chance....

Pulev for one is more credible even if Audley wins, in my opinion.
