He was offered a rematch with NC and refused it???????TopGun wrote:Fair play Tony for replying to your fans on here....it's things like that which a lot of boxers could learn from! Keep your feet on the ground mate.
I too was rooting for Cleverly the first time around but not when it happens again. You earned my respect and look forward to seeing you fight for a world title.
Forget Cleverly mate, give it a few more fights and he will be calling you out guaranteed!

Any idea on whether you will indeed be out on the Froch undercard? If so will that be a defence of the WBC international belt or the British belt?

As he's previously stated... and I don't think he could work with 'youknowwho' so soon... he was probably worrying about never getting paid!taffytoon wrote:He was offered a rematch with NC and refused it???????TopGun wrote:Fair play Tony for replying to your fans on here....it's things like that which a lot of boxers could learn from! Hopkins, Shumenov and Froch refused too.

Refused what?? I've never been made an offer and that's a fact! If I've been made an offer then why wasn't it made public like the Froch offer was?? Exactly!!
Re: Question for Tony Bellew........
Do me a favour eh Taff and don't state lies on here! I have never been offered a rematch and was told in the office "He doesnt want it" they were the exact words I was told! Now that's from the horses mouth! Can you say your information is from the horses mouth also! I also had a witness in that office when the comments were made!

Re: Question for Tony Bellew........
FW has stated openly that he offered you a rematch in front of a solicitor, don't shoot the messenger Tony, I suggest you drop FW a line if this in untrue mate.Bomber 1 wrote:taffytoon wrote:He was offered a rematch with NC and refused it???????TopGun wrote:Fair play Tony for replying to your fans on here....it's things like that which a lot of boxers could learn from! Re: Question for Tony Bellew........
Tony, all I have done is repeat FW, if his statement is a lie then I suggest you tell him buddy ( I'm sure you still have his number) or do a Bernard Hopkins twitter and post on his wall to stop using your name to promote his bum fighter ceverly ( or however Bernard spelt it)Bomber 1 wrote:Do me a favour eh Taff and don't state lies on here! As for Tony Bellew, I made the offer personally to him at the British Boxing Board of Control in front of a solicitor, so again this offer is without question.
Bellew’s tweeted comments state that no such offer was made, which is complete lie, as he states if it was made he would have taken it and would not be fighting Miranda this weekend.
The offer is still open, but for him to say it wasn’t made is a lie.

Re: Question for Tony Bellew........
just because allegedly have said hes offered a fight dont mean it was offically an offer, i could right now say tony i want to fight you heres an offer, theres ive made an offer nothing officall nothing in writting but ive made an offer, to me i see this as warren couldnt land anyone for cleverly so hes said hes done this hes done that, ive offered froch 1 mill to move up and fight cleverly, what purpose would that suite froch who is fighting the elite in his division has proven himself time and time again only to much up and face cleverly who lets face it just scrapped past bellew ( i personaly thought bellew won and im a cleverly fan aswell as a bellew fan) never beileve anything written in the press and pass judgement till both sides of the story is told.taffytoon wrote:Tony, all I have done is repeat FW, if his statement is a lie then I suggest you tell him buddy ( I'm sure you still have his number) or do a Bernard Hopkins twitter and post on his wall to stop using your name to promote his bum fighter ceverly ( or however Bernard spelt it)Bomber 1 wrote:Do me a favour eh Taff and don't state lies on here! I stated on cameras and to the press that if he made me an offer then why not make it public? You can't make public what you haven't offerd that's why ![[icon_shame.gif] :shame:](./images/smilies/icon_shame.gif)

Way I see it, Bomber; All publicity is good publicity. I suspect FW is hoping he'll get the likes of yourself and Froch on his channel at some point, trying to rile fighters up to promote his own. Frank's got form for it.Bomber 1 wrote:I stated on cameras and to the press that if he made me an offer then why not make it public? You can't make public what you haven't offerd that's why
Re: Question for Tony Bellew........
Tel your my favourite british boxer out there right now along with frochy and thats cos your a mans man,who wont duck anyone. I feel no one does the basics as well as u, the way u punch correctly ,good speed and i feel this was an exceptional win over miranda, personally i had u beating cleverly by a point , and im looking forward to seeing u move on in the next 12 months to what im sure is a world title belt.

FWank is a boxing promoter he will say what he wants. I don’t believe Tony would say no to a rematch considering how close the first fight really was.taffytoon wrote:Tony, all I have done is repeat FW, if his statement is a lie then I suggest you tell him buddy ( I'm sure you still have his number) or do a Bernard Hopkins twitter and post on his wall to stop using your name to promote his bum fighter ceverly ( or however Bernard spelt it)Bomber 1 wrote:Do me a favour eh Taff and don't state lies on here! Fair play to you Tony you do make a very good valid point, and I suppose it is not the first time F W has been full of shite so I take my hat off to you. 8)Bomber 1 wrote:I stated on cameras and to the press that if he made me an offer then why not make it public? Bomber has always said he's never been offered a rematch.
Who's word would you believe, Tonys or FW's? I know which one I'd believe.
Good luck in next fight Tony.

Re: Question for Tony Bellew........
You are a class act tony, keep true to yourself and keep being the way you are and the public will continue to warm to you. Honest pro who likes a scrap but wants to learn and become a better fighter without sugar coating.
I will watch your career with optimism and hope you can fulfil your ambitions.
Still chuckle when I hear
"Lets do it now then you f%*king rat"
Just promise one thing try and keep away from the third person talk "What kind of fighter would Tony Bellew be" etc people hate that and Ricky Hatton got on peoples tits in the end with his constant third person talk and the phrase pound for pound![[icon_knockout.gif] :KO:](./images/smilies/icon_knockout.gif)

Re: Question for Tony Bellew........
I felt bellew landed the better harder quality in the clev fight & won despite letting clev back in late on
Bellew was recently spotted in water stones buying the autobiography of terry marsh I've heard
