Midlands lads ste Pearce had one I think. Manny zebra 3-0. Luke heron 2-0. Lennox Clarke 9-0. Records are as pros.

Chris P Bacon was British Champion. A mate was scheduled to fight him, but Chris pulled out.

Julius francis boxed at streatham a week before his ABA 1/4 finals, and got grassed up, and thrown out of the ABAs, so turned pro after that,
Darren Covill had a few before pro

Chris Nixon is local to me and a good pro
Kris Hassel is also a local lad recently turned over
A big proportion of MBC boxers
I have in my mind Robin Reid for some reason if anyone can clarify?

Paul Hilz & couple lads from down Essex have all boxed on the white collar (unlicensed) circuit especially at the circus tavern down there which is a Mecca for the unlicensed boxing before turning pro, Lennox Clarke & Manny Zaber in the Midlands, both Blackwell brothers I believe have and few others, to many to name, plus lots have boxed after retiring from the pro ranks, Dom Negus, Kid Milo, Andy Cosnett must of had 300 plus white collar fights after retiring from pro's, the list is endless really

Robin Reid has a spell on the circuit before his second run as a pro. After the sabbatical he used it to get sharp again

In Mike Tysons book he states that he had smokers which were bouts in the gym with people smoking around them. These were unofficial and not recorded by amateur governing bodies at the time. So essentially unlicensed

yeah from what I see he was a good boxer very smooth good jab and could bang a bit, would love to see it again and any other fights on them shows

What was the outcome of the Negus v Williams fight? Was that white collar?

Had a couple of fights on Joe Pyle's shows well after he quit, both on you tube I think.
A quality fighter.

"Tough man" the REF Curtis Thrasher...I am Friendship with during my stay up in Alaska ('86, & '87). He told me he once lost a "tough man" fight by a decision to (none other than) Greg Haugen....that's "unlicenced".

Not a champion he's 2-0 in it I went up to Nottingham to watch him the other month I was surprised at how well run and how good the crowd was. Bare knuckle boxing is definitely on the way up
How does "bare nuckle" work - do they wear bandages?

Also, do they have proper rounds over a set distance etc.

Do these fights happen in a ring or are they more like the YouTube vids in fields and car parks?
