I disagree with Fwankjob, to say Froch was schooled by Ward was a bit unfair. He was beaten but not schooled!

Funny enough I remember getting text messages saying your getting paid tomorrow but then waiting months for my money! :( I've kept quite but would love to speak the truth, thing here is, someone is feeling the pressure and is getting beat at there own game!! Tony, when you say you are looking forward to letting people know the real truth, are you contractually not able to tell people what the truth is? You also state you don't owe him money according to the rules but you had to pay the board his managers fees recently, so if you didn't owe him money why did you do this? I'm not having a dig mate and as you may have read in an earlier thread I'm right behind you as a fan.

What I will say it's that it's very frustrating that the detail of Board hearings aren't made public. It's just a licence for individuals to shoot their mouths off without the public actually knowing what really went on.

I think the outcome was similar to the Rhodes case.
Tony could exercise his right to walk away from the Contract but still obliged to pay the financial terms of that Contract until its expiry ?
If he didn't pay then maybe the Board threatened sanctions against Tony resulting in the payment being made.

As I understand it, there have been lots of hearings going on and most of us are in the dark about most of them. As soon as people make public statements on matters, we don't know what to believe.

Perhaps not mate - but out of everyone that may or may not comment I would rely on Rumpole's comments the most.

I will answer that one for you 26.

Firstly let me say that I agree that it is a shame that hearings before the Board are held behind closed doors and the results of those hearings are not made public in any detail.

The outcome of the hearing before the Board on the 2nd of August was that Bunny was found to be in breach of numerous terms of the Boxer/Manager contract and various Regulations of the Rules and Regulations of the Board. As a consequence the Board determined that Tony had lawfully determined his management contract on the 21st May 2012. The Board further determined that Tony had adequate contractual grounds for determining the contract and therefore did not have to pay any management commission to Bunny for the period that the contract would have run if it had not been determined, i.e. March 2013.

However, there was one fight which had taken place prior to the management agreement being lawfully determined and the Board decided that Tony should pay Bunny 25% for that fight. This payment is disputed by Tony and will be determined by the Stewards of Appeal.

Bunny has appealed the decision of the Stewards of the Board and the appeal will be heard before the Stewards of Appeal in London next Wednesday, the 19th. September.

There is no reason why Tony cannot say what happened at the hearing or why he changed from being probably Bunny's biggest supporter to holding the views which he does now, other than he has been advised by me to refrain from commenting upon any of the issues until after the appeal has been heard by the Stewards of Appeal and matters before the Board have been finally determined.

After next Wednesday, Tony may, or may not, decide to disclose the true position in full. That is a matter for Tony to decide and no one else and we must respect the course which he chooses to take.

This twitter thing thats ongoing at the minute my cause more issues I see.

Love Tony as a fighter, disliked Bunny for a few years now

Wouldn't worry one bit about what Warren say's Tony, everyone know's the guy is an idiot who loses all his fighters after so long.

As for the fight with Cleverly I had it draw myself, maybe even had you edging it on work rate.


Ignore him and build your own career he is only pissed off as he has lost a marketable asset.
