YPH will probably take it by UD. Very good fight with some uneventful rounds that probably went to the champ. Ross is strong as a bull but seems to not be able to sustain his pressure for 12 rounds.

Lol my feed cutoff 30 secs of the 12th. NICE.

Close 12th round but Hernandez took it barely.

6-4-2

115-114 Hernandez

I thought Hernandez won it close. Ross had too many inactive rounds. Fighting the champ in his backyard.....not going to win the title that way. Even with the win, I don't think much of Hernandez.....

Yet another joke decision in Germany.

I had it 116-112 to Ross.

All three judges gave it the other way?

Although I felt Ross' trainer cost him the fight...

Agreed. I've always felt he has a soft chin just waiting to get exposed again. He's good but someone like Lebedev/Huck/G.Jones would knock him out, probably even Masternak/Chakhkiev.

Ross proved he deserves to mix it up with the top. This is his first fight he's even gone 12 in for fucks sake. The guy needs more championship calibre fights.

I thought Ross just edged it and you are absolutely right about his corner loosing him the fight. What crappy advice, he should have done the opposite of what they told him to do. Whenever he slugged with Hernandez he was winning and when he stayed back he dropped rounds.

Yeah, it was odd that he told TR not too press him when everyone watching saw YPH looking vunerable when he did. Probably was what cost him in what I saw as a close fight.

Was it just me or did Hernandez sometimes look he thought he was shadow-boxing in there? He was throwing punches but looking off to the middle-distance like he was checking his form in a gym mirror. Just a few times I saw him do it. Excess confidence, maybe?
