Whilst i think you are a stubborn bugger at times, I do like the fact that you come on here and respond to every point with a reasoned (if not agreeable) argument for your placings.

Ryan was winning the Rabenchenko fight at the time of the stoppage (I believe on all three cards) and won his fight previous to that by a near shut out.Horse wrote:In Rhodes' last three fights he has probably only won about 10 rounds as well and he has been stopped twice.stujones wrote:Yeah, not sure quite what Matthew has done so special to cling on to the 30th position. He's won about 10 of his last 36 rounds.
I thought Matthew Hatton deserved to keep his place more than Rhodes who had retired and been on poor form.
In Ryan's last 3 fights he only fought 27 rounds

Horse are u rated by a boxing recognition or is this your own "rankings" because some of your choices are really poor and have thought of for a while now really think you are massively in favour of the big names
don't no why a keep looking at "your" ratings..... Silly me

Burns' record over the last few years is better than Haye's. In the last 3 years Haye has beaten Valuev (just about), Ruiz, Harrison & Chisora.brian13 wrote:Burns is not the second best fighter in the UK yet. Haye is still above him.
Burns has beaten Martinez, Evensen, Laryea, Cook, Katsidis, Moses & Mitchell. Burns has been doing much more than Haye over recent years, so I think he deserves to be second in the rankings.
Fair enough.brian13 wrote:Gavin Rees could be a bit higher since he has been winning impressively. I would have him above Mc Donnell with Mc Donnell directly below him.
I think Fury's win against Chisora is a better win than any of Bellew's. That was last year though and Fury's opposition hasn't been as good this year. Bellew has done more over the last 12 months than Fury has, so I can see why you think he should be higher.brian13 wrote:Fury is definitely too high. His record is too bad for a position that high. Bellew beating Miranda alone last fight deserves to be ahead of Fury.
Bellew did struggle badly with McKenzie in their first fight and put on a very boring display in their second fight, so that counts against him for me. Bellew has a fight in November so he will probably overtake Fury after that, unless he fights a poor opponent.
Yes, I think maybe I have him higher than I should due to the way he stopped his last two opponents. He should probably be a few places lower.brian13 wrote:Groves is a bit too high. I think he should be put down one or two places and be ahead of Frampton.
Thanks.brian13 wrote:No real complaints about 20-30. There positioned pretty well and fair. Haskins is positioned right.

Khan is still a light welterweight. Why should Khan fight the welterweight Brook?Pugilist-specialist wrote:and Khan would rather face a lightweight novice than fight Brook.

Have to disagree here. Fury's win against Chisora was yes impressive but Chisora was awful that night. He hasn't beaten anyone of note since then.horse wrote:I think Fury's win against Chisora is a better win than any of Bellew's. Bellew has been in with Mc Kenzie twice and yes it wasn't an impressive display both times but he gave Nathan Cleverly loads of problems, beat and stopped Miranda (Andre Ward didn't even stop Miranda recently) and destroyed an ex-European champion in Danny Mc Intosh.
People initially think Fury has done more but when you look back at Bellew's record a bit closer. It is pretty decent.

I had Rabchenko ahead in that fight and I think the judges had him ahead as well.stujones wrote:Ryan was winning the Rabenchenko fight at the time of the stoppage (I believe on all three cards) and won his fight previous to that by a near shut out.

Hatton might have lost a lot of rounds in his recent fights but at least he didn't get knocked out.

Horse: you are a law unto yourself.
Re: British Top 30 P4P October 2012
Obviously you have a connection with the hattons/Manchester horse boy but there's no need to be bitchy with Rhodes who's now retired and been such a privalage to the gameHorse wrote:I had Rabchenko ahead in that fight and I think the judges had him ahead as well.stujones wrote:Ryan was winning the Rabenchenko fight at the time of the stoppage (I believe on all three cards) and won his fight previous to that by a near shut out.

You seem like a rude thicko and I feel that it would be a waste of my time to attempt to reason with you.cakes wrote:Obviously you have a connection with the hattons/Manchester horse boy but there's no need to be bitchy with Rhodes who's now retired and been such a privalage to the game![]()
av some what been a negative viewer of your silly boring "ratings" post for a while now just hope you stop it with the bitchiness

I disagree. I think Firtha, Pajkic, Rogan and Maddalone are all noteworthy wins.brian13 wrote:Have to disagree here. Fury's win against Chisora was yes impressive but Chisora was awful that night. He hasn't beaten anyone of note since then.
Bellew's record is decent, but so is Fury's.brian13 wrote:Bellew has been in with Mc Kenzie twice and yes it wasn't an impressive display both times but he gave Nathan Cleverly loads of problems, beat and stopped Miranda (Andre Ward didn't even stop Miranda recently) and destroyed an ex-European champion in Danny Mc Intosh.

Fury beat Chisora better than Helenius or Vitali did, he beat Firtha better than Banks and Povetkin did and he beat Maddalone better than Boytsov or Mormeck did.

Khan claimed that after he'd beat Garcia, he'd move up to welter and knockout someone like Kell Brook before fighting Mayweather. 2 days later he taunted Brook on twitter saying he'd never fight him.Horse wrote:Khan is still a light welterweight. Why is he now boxing a lightweight novice?
